Responsible for managing minor\major projects, upgrading with latest technology, providing ongoing Support to all premises, administration and management of IT infrastructure. Setting out new IT system, access control, CCTV, starting from infrastructure, purchasing, installation and testing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
WINDOWS ADMINISTRATION
•Install, configure and maintain Windows Desktops and Laptops
•Install new / rebuild existing machines and configure software, hardware, peripherals, network services.
•Managing remote Software Deployment, patch management and Security updates.
•Administration and management of Users, policies, Windows desktops and laptop via Desktop Authority.
•Office 365,
•Data and File Restorations per user request
•Troubleshoot Network Connectivity’s issues (LAN, WAN and VPN)
•Administration of Print management solution.
•Evaluate new software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing software and hardware.
•Managing the Inventory of all IT assets and annual inspection (PAT) by third party.
•Assists with the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
•Support for End-Point Security.
•Remote support.
•Preparation of yearly IT budget
SERVER ADMINISTRATION
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Handling and administrating AT&T Networks (LAN &VPN).
•Administrating 4 domains, Exchange servers and client machines of AT&T i.e., SBC, Classic T, BS and Cingular
•Installation, configuration and troubleshooting network resources like network drives, printers and share resources
•Administrating and handling Active Directories of the above 4 domains.
•User and Group management using group policy
•Works with FTP servers
•Technical support for the software’s like Citrix ICA client, communication manager, Veritas Net backs up (now Altiris) and many AT&T approved corporate software’s.
•Desktop sharing via network applications.
•Providing support to field engineers, product support.
•Corporate wide desktop laptop deployment using imaging tools like Norton Ghost.
•Support for the MacAfee Antivirus and HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention)
•Contacting vendors for hardware and software requirements Major clients Dell and HP.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Teach Programing languages like C, C++, Java, HTML etc
•In charge of Information Technology labs.
•Teach other Computer subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Network security and cryptography etc.
•Handling university organized online examination for students over the L.A.N. of around 150 computers.
•Assisting students in their respective seminars, assignments and research work.
•Handling and guiding the projects of final year students in various fields.
•Handling and administrating all IT infrastructural related projects.
• Deploying and supporting all Educational applications.
•Support and maintenance of Online Examination server and other IT equipment.
•Support for Examination Cell in Technical aspects of University like examination, marks and reports.
