Data Centre Operations
* Operational support for Dubai World centers- having two datacenters 40Km apart, with full redundant connectivity with 6500 switches.
* Configuration and troubleshooting of Dubai World LAN/WAN connection.
* Ensuring high availability of all Dubai world LAN/WAN with maximum uptime.
* Configuration and troubleshooting Cisco CSM (load balancing module).
* Devising DR Strategy in line with the business continuity plans.
Networking
* Implementing & maintaining routers, switches in enterprise class network.
*Designing & testing network changes & additions; troubleshooting & analyzing hard/software.
* Implementing, configuring & maintaining the network circuit redundancy via layer 2 switching and/or layer 3 routing to minimize network downtime.
* First level support for IPT and IPCC enterprise.
Key Projects Handled:
* Supported various projects as Infrastructure Architect, Network Specialist, Process Consultant for the following BU’s In Dubai.for clients such as DP World, Dubai Customs, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, Environment, Health and Safety, Group Corporate Finance, Group Internal Audit, JAFZA, Limitless, Dubai Maritime City, Nakheel.
* Led the project for Extreme Black diamond to Cisco 6500 series migration to Cisco 6500 series Core/Datacenter/Distribution switch migration for the Entire Dubai World network (16x6513) with minimal downtime, full redundancy (L2 & L3) and the migration of the network to new IP scheme design. Involved in changing all edges extreme summit switches to Cisco 3750 switches.

* Hardware used all the projects are Cisco 6500, 4500 and 3750. Routers are 3800, 2800 and 2600 with full redundancy.
KNOWLEDGE DOMAIN
* Routing Protocols-EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, switching technologies STP, PVSP, STP, Flex link and QoS
* Knowledge of related industry spec's and standards: IEEE, ANSI, UPT Fiber, ATM, ISDN, Bridging, Switching, Frame Relay, Routing, Ethernet & Transport Protocols.
