o Established the Value Based Management model with support from Mckinsey for the bank. The model allowed to measure Risk adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC) by business, product, customer and transaction.
o Setup the levers to allocate both direct and indirect costs in the bank. The capital utilization is allocated using Basel II capital usage. The allocations were done at transaction level so that the numbers can be summed up to produce RAR at different levels.
o The analysis helped to identify, understand, restructure and renegotiate on the various business avenues in the bank. It also helped to improve the performance of the businesses and more focused towards higher yielding assets.

Asset Liability Management
o Establishment of ALCO support function in the bank. Setup a mechanism to routinely receive inputs to the attention of ALCO.
o Reporting of Interest rate risk, FX risk, Investment Portfolio analysis, Liquidity position, Basel II CAR and other key risk indicators of the bank.
