Current profile is to design and development of Rock drills (Tricone) of different configuration for various types of mining, Bore well and Oil well applications.
• Understanding requirement of customer specifications of Bits.
• Development of new type of rock drill products, up gradation of existing products and providing manufacturing support.
• Input is customer specification or sometimes existing competitor bit (Rate of penetration, Drilled meters per bit, bearing life etc) which is performing at the customer location
• Preparation of layout of geometry of the bit.
• 3D CAD modeling (Pro-e tool) of Bits, developing manufacturing drawings (Pro-e & AutoCAD)
• Design verification by developing prototypes and after satisfactory performance releasing for pilot production
• After successful performance of bit releasing of drawings for mass production
• If bit is not up to the mark specified, finding the root cause analysis of failure
• Observation of competitor bit performances & matching or exceeding the bit performance by adding new features in it so that it can perform well.
• Supporting manufacturing, assembly and testing activities. Participating in assembly and testing of equipment.
