• Promoted to Senior Vice President in 2002 and in addition to above also give me responsibilities of the branch as Chief Manager.

• Re-joined Soneri Bank Limited as SVP & Head of Trade (South Region) on Jan. 2011

1. Responsibilities to manage all Non fund base and fund base trade finance related to Import and export, FC Deposit Inward and Outwards Foreign remittance, Foreign Exchange Returns or any returns related to Trade
2. Analyzes the problems and provide suggestions and solutions
3. Preparation of procedures for centralization
4. Proper awareness of Foreign Exchange Regulations Import and Export Policies, and ICC publication (UCP 600, URC 522, URR725, ISBP 2007


Between 2007 to Jan. 2011 I joined Atlas Bank Limited as Senior Vice President and Head of TPC. (Trade Processing Center) at Karachi
• Principal Accountabilities:
1. Responsibilities to manage all Non fund base and fund base trade finance related to Import and export, Local and Foreign Guarantees, Inward and Outwards Foreign remittance, Foreign Exchange Returns or any returns related to Trade.
2. Analyzes the problems and provide suggestions and solutions.
3. Quality delivery of trade product as per TAT.
4. Proper awareness of Foreign Exchange Regulations Import and Export Policies, and ICC publication (UCP 600, URC 522, URR725, ISBP 2007)


Prior to joining Soneri Bank Limited in 1992 I worked in Habib Bank Limited, Saudi Fransi Bank and Mactor Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd and Mehran Bank Limited details as under:

• Joined Habib Bank Limited in June 1975 as Officer Grade III.
• Obtained Six Months successful training in all Departments of General Banking.
• After training, worked as Second Officer in different branches of Sukkur & Hyderabad Zones.
Habib Bank Limited, Cloth Market Branch Karachi (1977-1982)
• 4 years in Import Department.
• 1 year in Export Department.
• Got Promotion in Grade II in 1981
• For better prospect, Joined Saudi Fransi Bank in September 1982 as Accountant.
• Responsible for Transfer Dept. (Remittance Dept.) and Accounts Dept.
• From July 83 handled LC, LG and Risk Dept.
• From January 85 till resignation worked as Acting Controller of Branch (responsible for all internal worked of the Branch.).
• Resigned in August 85 due to my family problems and came back to Pakistan.

• Worked in Macter Pharmaceuticals Private Limited from 1986 to 1992 as Finance Manager and Chief Accountant.
• Responsible for all Financial & Accounting matters including all banking issues including funds base and non funds base facilities.
• Joined Mehran Bank Limited from Feb. 1992 to June 1992 as Officer Grade I.
• In-charge Import Department.
• Responsibilities for all smooth operational work of Import dept. within the bank policy, Foreign Exchange Regulations.
