- Assist, Develop and Modify civil engineering plans, standard, and specification for new construction projects Prepare
initial designs draft and preliminary layouts, such as road design, bridges, retaining walls, drain structures using
AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Inspect civil engineering projects to ensure safety standards, health and regulatory requirements are applied. Plans, carry
out, and report in progress and ensure that the contractor administers and completes the construction contract in a
competent and timely manner according to terms of contract.
- Tracking property assessment and roads maintains process and conducts daily reports to the engineer supervisor.
Participate with contracting officer in pre-construction meetings to review contracts, discuss any issues and resolve any
challenges or difficulties
- Prepare and submit organized, detailed data for each project that could include maps, field notes and digital images using
GIS
- Laboratory testing of soil and other construction materials.
- Documentation of field and laboratory data soil boring, percolation test (permeability) and HMA. Attend construction
progress and pre-production meetings for various projects - Assist safety committee with reports, presentation, and
filing. - Filed verification of design parameters for construction of foundations
- Provide oversight of geotechnical investigation, logging of boreholes and conformance to permit requirements
Coordinating the permitting, utility clearance and scheduling of geotechnical field investigation - Schedule and oversee
subcontractors and operate field equipment and other duties as assigned.
