Ph.D. research work on Relative Clause Structure in Arabic (1996 -2000) supervised by Professor Raymond Fabry and awarded by Faculty of Arts of Malta University. The study adopts The GB and PPT models of syntax. The work introduces the DP complex hypothesis to account for the non-trace position realized by the resumptive pronoun in Classical and Modern Standard Arabic.
