Duties & Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the functionality of all departments
* Monitoring and approving monthly operational schedules considering management requirements/targets

* Monthly meeting with department heads regarding expenditure and cost reduction points

* Ensure the facility utilization and appropriate recommendation in stages to develop

Corresponding with various insurance companies for negotiation on the rates, coverage and claim settlement.
Registering new business and reported claims in the in-house system and timely follow up of renewal
and outstanding claims with clients and Insurance Companies

Internship research was done on the comparison of health insurance policies at the corporate office of Star
Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. (Chennai, India) for a period of one month as a part of the fulfillment of
IPGDGI programme in IIRM (Hyderabad).
Researched and assessed on various types of health care insurance policies.
Analyzed the working process of underwriting and claims settlement in health insurance sector.
Gained essential knowledge on the practical placements of the policies, and on the calculations carried out for
the premium on each type of policies placed for the policyholders
