Heading Retail & Wholesale division, managing entire operations, sales and distribution team with a portfolio of international brands in diversified product segments
o Perfume: Franck Muller(UAE, Qatar, Bahrain), Herve Gambs (KSA) & Keiko Mecheri (GCC)
o Luggage Brands: Guess, Ted Baker, Travel Pro, Briggs and Riley, Lipault and BG Berlin (GCC).
o Fashion: Aigner - Arabic traditional wear (GCC).
o Eyewear: B+D - Reading Glasses (ME).
o Sweets: Arabesque and Divan.
• Providing strategic inputs for Distribution/Wholesale/Duty Free channels in order to ensure that the Business objectives are met in line with the vision, mission and strategy of the organisation.
• Proposing the annual budget for “Luggage/Perfumes/Fashion/Eyewear/FMCG” brands, in order to meet the objectives set for the Division and the Company.
• Developing marketing plan in order to achieve the growth & market share objectives set for the year.
• Developing the Go-to-market strategy to ensure maximum coverage and achieve high productivity for efficient and effective Distribution of products and services to Key accounts.
• Developing the operational plan for purchase, product inventory & sale across the GCC in order to ensure that the strategic plan is implemented in line with the business objectives.
• Ensuring the effective management of customers in order to execute the operational plan and achieve or exceed the business objectives.
• Implement the pricing of products for customers in order to ensure gross margins & net profit objectives are achieved.
• Managing debtors within corporate guidelines to ensure healthy cash flows.
• Manage the inventory levels to ensure a healthy stock profile and working capital.
• Responsible for the product management in order to achieve product positioning, market share and year-on-year growth and brand awareness across the target audience.
• Develop & execute the marketing plan through marketing department to ensure that marketing activities like demand creation, PR, tactical trade promotions, bundling & packaging of services
are planned & executed and the positioning of the brand & related marketing messages are
communicated to the market channels to achieve the brand objectives.
• Preparing the demand forecasts based on feedback from channels to aid the purchase of products from vendors, Prepare product and price positioning based on market and competitor information to aid purchase of products from vendors
• Communicating the demand forecast and price positioning to vendors as a negotiating tool with vendors
• Executing the purchase of products from vendors in line with the plans, and post-execution of purchase, support for lowering cost prices in order to protect the business interests.
• Maintaining a strong network of contacts with customers and the competition in industry to obtain market intelligence that facilitates business decisions.
