Co-leader in developing mechanistic-empirical pavement design guide (MEPDG) for the State of Qatar. The work includes testing asphalt pavement materials (HMA, Asphalt Binder, Unbound Materials, and Cement Bound Materials). The study also includes developing traffic input for the MEPDG and construct typical vehicle distribution for Qatar. Finally, the work require managing number of commercial and non-commercial laboratories and develop analysis tools to gather all experimental data for analysis.
