Design and development of Control Systems for power systems and power electronic equipment.

• Activities: • Learnt to configure the EXPERION-PKS Honeywell DCS.
• Built controllers, channels and points using Control Builder and Enterprise
Model Builder.
• Configured Assets using the Configuration Studio in the Experion server.
• Learnt troubleshooting, redundancy and networking in Honeywell PLC ML- 200R.
• Underwent training in Rashtriya Chemical Fertilizers, India which included field
trips to numerous plants.
• Had an opportunity to view operations and set up of various DCS including
YOKOGAWA, EMERSON and HONEYWELL.
• Saw practical implementation of Differential Pressure Transmitters, Temperature
sensors and final control elements.
• Attended ALLEN BRADLEY SLC-500 programming training at the Advanced
Training Institute, Ramanthapur, India.
• Attended a workshop on SIEMENS PLCs organised by the college.
• Participated in industrial visits organised by the college to cement manufacturing
plant and power generation plant.

Carried out extensive research on wireless control design for Smart Grid and renewable energy systems in Saudi Arabia funded by KFUPM. Have four research papers in my name during my masters in wireless control and renewable energy. Received full scholarship on merit basis to pursue M.S. in King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Was appointed as the Logistics Head of the department for the national level technical fest ‘ADSOPHOS’ held in our college.
