Support in implementing the Healthy Schools National Accreditation program has been conducted since 2008 with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ministry of Education (MOE). The Accreditation program aims to create health-promoting environments within Jordanian schools that reflect positively on students physical and social growth, as well as on their academic performance. The Accreditation based on Standards was developed by a specialized committee from UNICEF, the World Health Organization, the Communication Partnership for Family Health, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Education. These Standards cover multiple areas.
