o Take-off quantities for all structural, architectural, interior design and infrastructure works according to the project documents and provide final BOQ for pricing.
o Floating tenders to obtain the subcontractors, suppliers quotations based on tender document at tender stage.
o Analyse, evaluate and prepare comparison statements of the quotations received from the subcontractors and suppliers.
o Study the tender document, and identify to the Chief Estimator regarding any discrepancies found in the documents.
o Identify and measure any additional items which may necessary required to complete the work, but the consultant may not measured the same.
o Identify to the Chief Estimator any clarifications which may required from the consultant/client to avoid any future risk.
o Assist the Chief Estimator for final calculation and arithmetical check up of dry and selling BOQ.
o Prior to signing of the contract to compare and confirm that the contract documents are exactly same as the tender documents.
o Upon award of the contract and after receiving instruction from the Chief Estimator/Tendering Manager, properly handover all tender documents including quotations received at tender stage to the procurement department.
o To update the prices of elements in the in-house database after coordinating with Chief Estimator.
o To coordinate with the Document Controller to update the subcontractor and suppliers database from time to time.
