Mohammed Taha

o Provide leadership and guidance to the Federal Ministry of Health and Partners on the HIV/ AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections prevention programs including capacity building and technical support for the Health personnel and Civil Society Organizations at federal and states level.
o Lead the Designation and implementation of the Integrated service packages for Health services mainly with the National AIDS programme at Federal Ministry of Health and regularly review the tools for monitoring and evaluation and make adjustment to facilitate objective measurement of indicators in the Programme;
o Lead the Capacity building interventions for the HIV & SRH and GBV programs at Federal and states level including the MOH and Civil Society organizations.
o Provide leadership and technical support to the Sudan National AIDS Programme and the Federal Directorate of Diseases Control on the advocacy and stakeholders sensitization to support the HIV interventions in Sudan.
o Develops tools and mechanisms for effective and efficient M&E Programme activities targeting key population at highest risk, vulnerable groups, youth and women at reproductive age including capacity building and technical support for CSOs, coordinates compilation of related programmatic data and provides accurate and up-dated programmatic information to HIV Programme Analysts.
o Lead the M&E, Inspection and Oversight Management for the Health Programs Supported by UNFPA in 11 states for the HIV and STIs programs.
o Promote Knowledge sharing and continuous learning, testing and documenting innovation strategies, approaches, lessons learning and best practices.
o Act as Programme Communication focal person for providing support to the communication unit in the country office.
o Provide other forms of assistance as required and instructed by the direct supervisors.

o Provide support to Ministry of Health ( namely Directorate of Communicable Diseases Control / State AIDS Program) and other counterparts in Health program planning, implementation for the HIV and STIs Prevention interventions.
o Regularly monitoring and follow-up in the field.
o Operative resourceful coordination between UNICEF and partners and efficient planning of response interventions.
o Integrate peace building and promote peace culture as cross-cutting issue throughout the implementation of HIV/AIDS and Health activities.
o Act as M&E focal person for the HIV Programme in Darfur Zone (Three states North, South and West Darfur States).
o Provide support to Ministry of Education to apply the newly-developed life skills curriculum for basic and secondary schools.
o Perform any other duties as required.

Teaching

• Supervise the Health sector team (Including
the Medical Clinics teams and the
Environmental and community Health teams
and oversee the activities of the sector in the
organization.
• Ensure Technical support for the staff of the
health sector in the organization.
• Conduct regular Supervisory and Inspection
Visits to the Clinics, Health Units, and
Community Project sites.
• Coordinate within the health forum to meet the
health needs of the war affected people in the
IDPs settings in North Darfur.
• Ensure regular reporting to the donors
(Progress and final reports).
