Sole engineer responsible for all data automation and ETA e-invoicing integration at an active paper
manufacturing company.
• ETA e-invoicing API integration: Built a resilient Node.js pipeline interfacing with the
Egyptian Tax Authority API.
◦ Handles OAuth authentication, JWT token lifecycle, pagination via continuation tokens, and
automatic retry with exponential back-off.
◦ Recovers from mid-session failures using a MongoDB-backed checkpoint system, enabling safe
resume without data duplication.
◦ Processes thousands of invoices per run across configurable date windows.
• Browser automation (Puppeteer + stealth plugins): Extracts session tokens from the ETA
portal where direct API authentication is unavailable.
◦ Implements human-like typing simulation, randomized mouse movement, and UA anonymization
to avoid bot detection.
◦ JWT expiry detection and automatic token refresh; falls back gracefully through multiple token
sources.
• Python data validation and reporting pipeline: Aggregates invoice data from MongoDB
using multi-stage aggregation pipelines; reconciles against internal records.
◦ Produces formatted Excel reports with K-Means clustering and configurable bin analysis to
surface pricing anomalies (openpyxl, pandas, scikit-learn).
• System design documentation: Authored architecture docs covering MongoDB schemas,
process state machines, and API integration points — making the system maintainable beyond a
single author.
• Impact: Eliminated 35+ hours of manual data work per week.
