• Prepare, update and execute on strategic Asset Management Plans for assets within the portfolio.
• Maintain a portfolio of properties including the vetting of annual budgets & analysis of monthly financial statements.
• Reforecast budgets and cash flows on a monthly basis.
• Liaise and provide support to joint venture partners including creation of monthly reporting packages, quarterly statistics and lease approval packages.
• Collaborate with the VP, Asset Management and other members of the Asset Management department to ensure consistent and comprehensive management of the overall RioCan portfolio.
• Provide pre-budget and post-budget support to the Leasing department. Underwrite all lease transactions and recommend acceptable deals to upper management and partners.
• Monitor and provide oversight of the assets within the portfolio, collaborating with all departments involved with the projects (i.e. Leasing, Accounting, Operations, Investments, Development, and Construction when appropriate) and lead asset specific update meetings as required.
• Identify and recommend areas of potential value enhancement, innovation and risk control.
• Extensively work on expropriations from start to finish with the City, external and internal counsel to successfully drive the transaction.
• Working alongside Environmental Risk on the portfolio to identify and mitigate contamination on site and mitigate any environmental risks at play.
• Successfully managing portfolios for different clients across Real estate asset classes. Monitoring NOI, capital gains, leasing and preparing memorandums as per requirements.
• Responsible for calculating the returns across the portfolios.
• Direct strategic operations, lease negotiation, capital improvements, and tenant coordination for Class A office, industrial Mixed-Use properties.
• Lead Office, Industrial & retail team (with my Manager) in leasing and development, annual budgets, business plans, quarterly reports, & appraisals.
• Seasoned financial analyst; responsible for assessing & scrutinizing the valuations of assets and providing constructive recommendation to the clients for optimizing the asset for capital gains.
• Part of developing strategies for maximizing the portfolio returns.
• Responsible to provide presentations on Annual plans and strategies to clients to take better business decisions.
• Diligently tracking NOI and Operating costs on a month-to-month basis across the portfolio.

• Working exclusively on Rogers account, managing a wide portfolio of commercial, retail, and network leases across Canada.
• Supporting the client needs of quality review and management of lease abstractions and critical dates, with support on clients access to data across their portfolio to enable them make strategic real estate decisions.
• Experienced in interpreting and extracting data from commercial, retail and network leases.
• Abstracting and interpreting lease related documents (lease, amendments, subleases).
• Resolution of rent and other landlord/tenant issues.
• Reviewing and interpreting lease documents and providing assistance to the account receivable team to ensure accurate setup of leases in the accounting system for purposes of billing tenants.

• Accomplishments: Worked on a portfolio restructure, generated about ~INR40 million in savings over 10 years for the Client, while the other resulted in savings of about ~INR1.5 million in savings over 5 years.
• Extensively worked on capital planning, financial models, cost depreciation of buildings, feasibility studies, project risk assessment, business cases, research, report writing, market analysis, mapping, strategic planning, presentations, preparation of proposals and engagement letters.
