Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of global processes for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function ensuring alignment in approach and standards. Ensures the seamless integration of cross functional processes with the SCM solution and leverages leading practice insights across MTN.
• Manages the global design and implementation of standard end-to-end processes for SCM to be delivered across the Shared Services Centre, Centers of Excellence and the 22 Operating Companies and drive the business rule changes required to support the new global solution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead Demand & Supply Planning (S&OP and Inventory Planning) processes by monitoring and manage the demand and supply planning processes and produce accurate demand plans and efficient supply plans to achieve the targeted customer service level

I was part part of the Project Thuthuka Team that is tasked with providing the “cradle to grave” supply chain solution for Ellerines Holdings in the retail furniture industry.

My responsibilities are split across the following areas and are interdependent:

The ROI (Return On Investment) Team - Conducting analysis and process definition and re-
engineering in order to asses when cost savings can be achieved and processes be made more
efficient and effective.

The Transition Team - Provide the link between current state and end state tasks. This is to ensure
that the transition to the new solution is done in a seamless manner as possible. My main focus is on
facilities, transportation and IT readiness.

The Operations Team - Assist the operations team in determining whether all suggested processors
and procedures are practical and relevant to the day to day operations of the supply chain solution.
This includes conduction user acceptance testing (UAT), operations readiness testing and training.
