Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review of Contractors submittals including material submissions, shop drawings, calculations, method statements and as-built drawings.
• Preparation of technical reports for pending technical issues and to facilitate final close-out of project.
• Attend weekly/ periodic site meetings with Contractor, Employer, Lead Consultant and any/all other stakeholders as and when required
• Responsible for Mechanical Building Services Engineering involving HVAC, Controls, Plumbing, PHE, and Fire.
• Responsible for the review of mechanical design contents as assigned.
• Responsible for the participation in the progress and coordination meetings of the design projects and the preparation of the meeting records.
• Carried out Value Engineering proposal in all projects for Cost control and optimization.
• Reply to contractor’s query (RFI’S), prepare request for change (RFC) and revise HVAC design drawings as per client, specialist sub-consultants and other trades new requirements.
• Perform site inspections to ensure that works are done as per design & specifications and prepare non-compliance report as necessary.
• Assign site inspection works and submittal review to other engineer and design changes works to CAD technician and monitor to ensure all works are done properly & completed as per schedule.
• Witnessing testing and commissioning activities to verify the system performance as per design requirement.
• Reviewed Projects Design and Shop drawings in BIM model developed up to 4D and 5Dlevel.
• Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval on design projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Design/Supervision.
• Carry out Building Services design for Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) complying with CIBSE, BSRIA, ASHRAE and British Standards and Local Authority regulations.
• Responsible for the production of drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules through schematic, outline & detailed design, and tender issue.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical building services engineers, structural engineers and other disciplines.
• Coordinate, instruct and supervise mechanical engineers and draughtsmen.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants, project managers, client, and contractor.
• Act as a focal point for the Principle Engineer, Project Manager and Technical Director.
• Complete engineering work within the agreed programme, schedule.
• Review and evaluation of shop drawing, material approval request, method statement, technical submittals, O&M Manuals, As built drawings and other submittals.
• Perform technical review on the proposals for various mechanical equipment & systems for value engineering and or budgetary purposes.
• Reply to contractor’s query (RFI’S), prepare request for change (RFC) and revise HVAC design drawings as per client, specialist sub-consultants and other trades new requirements.
• Prepare appropriate response or report when necessary for the Resident Engineer’s review.
• Perform site inspections to ensure that works are done as per design & specifications and prepare non-compliance report as necessary.
• Assign site inspection works and submittal review to other engineer and design changes works to CAD technician and monitor to ensure all works are done properly & completed as per schedule.
• Liaise with the Client’s engineers, project managers, architects, Main contractor and MEP contractors.
• Participate on the technical design and coordination meetings with project managers, lead consultant, contractor and other sub-consultant; identify mechanical engineering issues/problems and assist in the development of workable solutions.
• Site supervision and performing inspections for work executed at project site.
• Witnessing testing and commissioning activities to verify the system performance as per design requirement.
• Provide technical and financial review of Tenders.
• Give site backup on technical and design issues, when required.
• Liaises with governmental departments and relevant authorities for necessary approvals.
