• Roles and responsibilities:

• Review project contract, BOQ, schedule, specification and applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare, review and implement the Project quality manual prior to project commencement.
• Prepare, review and implement the Quality documents like ITPs, Welding documents (PWPS, PQR, WPS, WQT), Method of statement and checklist for each activity like Welding, Installation of piping, pumps, valves, compressor, Pressure vessel, supports, FBE lining, HSS coating, hydrostatic pressure test as per project specification and Codes.
• Attending management meetings.
• Ensure all technical documents, drawings are approved, having latest revisions and stamped for construction.
• Review quality inspection personal qualifications and training requirements.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI.
• Maintain and review the log of all the (DD) Design drawing, shop drawing, fabrication drawings, sectional drawings, Isometric drawings, P&ID drawings before starting the work.
• Preparation of RIW (Request for inspection of works) for various activities like Fit up, welding, painting, Coating, Installation, hydro test, bolt torque for all the mechanical Process pipe and Auxiliary piping works as per approved ITP and get it witness from client.
• Raise internal NCR’s and SI for the work discrepancies with reference to drawings/codes/specification. Closing the NCR's in co-ordination with Site representatives.
• Technical documents submittal/review.
• Maintain RIW, RMT, RCCI, RCI, Site instruction, NCRs log, Monthly Payment certificate, As built status, Weekly report log for each activity and to follow up for the same to get close and approved it.
• Maintain log of approved WPS, WQT certificates, welding and Painting work summary.
• Inspecting sites daily with consultants, -Maintaining a log and visiting store with consultant for permanent material inspection, -Coordinating for internal quality audit.
• Prepare hydrotest packages and Final ECC erection clearance certificate preparation and successfully submission of all the ECC’s related to our work scope.
• Handling and assigning all the relevant inspectors to their field of works.

Welding inspection (Process piping ASME 31.3, AWS D1.1): To check and witness the welding material in accordance with the WPS/ drawing, WPS is it approved and are available to welders, welding consumables, joint fitup, weld face and pre heat if applicable, welding process, welding consumables, welding parameters (Current, voltage, travel speed), Root run, Fitup, weld identification, weld visual acceptance, Dimensional survey, related NDT procedure, Installation, pressure test and insulation if applicable.
11. Blasting & Painting inspection (Process piping ASME 31.3, SSPC): To review the applicable paint system compatibility and ensure identification and traceability of all material.. To initiate the qualification of the Sand Blasters/Painters for clients approval. Review of method statements of painting application. To ensure the readiness of the QA/QC requirements are met before start of painting/coating application. To initiate Inspection requests for clients monitoring inspections. To ensure the calibration/ validation of Sand Blasting/Painting Equipments, tools etc. To monitor the Air Temperature, Dew Point, Relative Humidity. To inspect WFT, DTF by using the relevant inspection tools. Holiday Testing inspection of Above ground and Underground Pipelines, Structural components etc. To prepare the inspections reports, inteal NCRs etc.
12. MEP & EU inspection (NFPA, SMACNA, ASHRAE): Inspection for firefighting, HVAC, plumbing and drainage To check the installation or work activities like, Pressure test/ leak detection test, light test for HVAC duct work, To check the installation of mechanical equipment's like AHU, FCU, fire pumps etc.. and its accessories, External underground utilities RTR piping work (Firefighting, potable, foul and chilled water.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Incoming material inspection (Raw steel material & welding consumables) as per the purchase order copy, test certificates and approved technical submittal.
2. Reads and interprets inspection manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine inspection method and procedures and allowable tolerances.
3. Before starting the work make sure that approved WPS and method of statement are readily available to welders and inspectors on site.
4. To check the welding equipment condition and calibrated as appropriate.
5. To inspect Weld preparation in accordance with WPS/ drawings.
6. To inspect the preheat temperature in accordance with WPS.
7. To inspect the interpass temperature in accordance with WPS.

1. Arranging the fabricated materials based on the project priorities outside the workshop, and the same will be blasted and painted upon the priority and assigned production plan from the General Manager.
2. Supervise and leads foremen, skilled labor, and work crews in all activities concerned with painting/blasting works aspects of a construction project. Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the project. Able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, following policies, procedures and work practices, and developing improvements where necessary.
3. Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with all QA/QC and Safety procedures, plus all Company rules and regulations.
4. Monitors and tracks daily progress and work completed, comparing planned to actual. Takes appropriate mitigating action to ensure compliance with the plan, based on knowledge of available manpower, equipment, materials, and in cooperation with General Manager.
5. Supervises the preparation of three week and one week look‐ahead plans for the painting/blasting works of the project, in close liaison with construction, planning and other departments and disciplines.

7. Ensures that all work is in conformity to standards and specifications. Interprets specifications and discusses deviations from specified painting and coating procedures to ensure full compliance with QA/QC inspection plans and procedures.
8. Plan for resources such as man power material to meet project requirements.
9. To follow the proper blasting and painting specification as per the approved method of statement.
10. Preparation of the painting estimation quantity/ sheet for each project considering the loss factor and price comparison.
11. Maintain paint inventory for all the project material on daily and monthly basis and to evaluate the paint outflow to order the paint material accordingly.
12. Monitor/ maintain the production planned V/s actual blasting and painting status on daily basis.
13. To calculate the required manhour for the new assigned project.
14. Supervise the sub contractor in terms of labour, production activities on daily basis.
15. Checking and verifying the invoice of each painting and blasting stage which has been fixed during the beginning of the project. Invoice is presented by the sub contractor and the same will be forwarded to the General Manager for further approval.
