- Maximize cash generation by follow up A/R functions and collection.
- The preparation of the company's cost of sales accounts.
- Preparing trading account and profit and loss account of the company
- Prepare a budget sheet .
- Preparing financial statements package .
- Proposing and developing financial and accounting policies, regulations, procedures and instructions, and supervising their implementation.
- Providing financial advice to the General Manager and all departments in the company.
- Planning, organizing, and following up on all the financial and accounting activities of the company, with the aim of effectively controlling the company's
- Supervising the preparation, development and application of cost accounting systems and methods in the company, which include identifying cost centers according to the approved financial and accounting systems.
- Working on developing accounting software systems and proposing the necessary amendments to them so that the financial and administrative data are extracted by the concerned parties easily and easily.
- Preparing the annual estimated budgets and balance sheets of the company and preparing the annual and semi-annual final accounts and comparing them with the previous year.
- Preparing all financial and accounting reports, including profit and loss reports, which indicate the financial position of the company and recommendations to the General Manager to take the appropriate decision regarding them.
- Property and setting the necessary procedures for calculating depreciation provisions.
- Supervising and controlling fixed asset records and preparing periodic reports related to them.
- Supervising the preparation of the periodic and exceptional financial analyzes of the company, including cash flow analyzes and forecasting in a way that ensures the availability of liquidity.
- Reviewing and auditing all financial contracts and all obligations before concluding them to determine their financial impact on the company and preparing the necessary recommendations regarding them.
- Opening and following up the credits for the purchase of materials and machines in banks and how to pay these credits
- Ensure that all company accounts, including sales, wages and salaries accounts, are prepared according to the approved accounting system with the required accuracy and speed, and to ensure that all files, documents, reports and financial information are kept, and that all financial documents are preserved in a safe manner to ensure their availability and ability to refer to them in the future.
- Review and approve all accounting documents and records and statements of amounts to be paid to creditors and other dues, within the powers vested in me, and to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with financial and accounting regulations and instructions.
- Reviewing and approving monthly salaries and wages, instructing them to be disbursed, and calculating the annual leave and end-of-service allocations accrued under the Kuwaiti Labor Law, to prove them accounting.
- Matching different accounts in general and bank accounts in particular, and making sure that interest, commissions and bank charges are calculated correctly.
- Supervising periodic and sudden inventories of the company's assets.
Job Description: Chief of Accounts
- Responsible for maintaining of financial function and control by implementing management policies, manual and accounting roles.
- Ensuring that accounting system procedures are compliance with contracts & conditions as well as the budget and Manual of Authorities.
- Manage and coordinate relationship with external parties (banks, auditors, suppliers, contractors, ministries and clients ….).
- Posting accounts transactions, apply appropriate adjustments JVs for monthly-end closing entries as well as daily accounting activities.
- Follow up collection and payments according to credit terms.
- Build relationships with operation teams & Supply Chain staff, Contractors and client's satisfaction.
- Coordinate & Assist in updating documentation flow cycle, in order to reduce the services invoicing procedures and collection time.
