Project Capacity : Maintenance Scheduling and Supervision for the part of 3000 TR
Water Cooled Chillers, 17 Chilled Water Pumps, 270 NOs.
FCUs/AHUs/FAHUs, 120 Ventilation units For Restaurants, Basement
Parking Jet fans and Axial Fans and Axial Fans for Washroom Extract
and Atrium Exhaust And Staircase Pressurization fans. Including
Water transfer pumps, Elevators and Escalators.
Responsibilities:
• Heat Load calculations or Ventilation Capacity calculations for every individual
shopping outlet/ restaurant based on Civil CAD drawings.
• Planning of Indoor units such as Decorative indoor unit placements, Duct routing and
Diffusers/Grills and Dampers placements for ceiling concealed ductable units along
with planning of Return Air grills/ diffuser placements for better interior aesthetics in
co-ordination with Architects/ Interior designer.
• Submitting the design data and shop drawing and getting approvals with Senior
Engineers.
• Coordinating with Draftsman to complete the Project drawings and get approvals with
concerned Architects and Clients.
• Setting up targets, setting required resources-manpower, equipment & materials.
• Active Involvement in Team meetings and getting tools and materials approval,
procurement supply and planning of all service and orders by preparing work
schedules for the installation procedures and the Chilled water connections to the
FCUs/ AHUs, followed by the Project Engineer Instructions.
• Coordination with the supervisors & foremen to carry out the work according to the
specifications and drawings and scheduling the periodic inspections.
• Coordinate with another engineering discipline and all aspects during development of
work to ensure confirmation of design according to the requirements.
• Maintaining the records and archives to company standards.
• Ensure safe work environments and supply of materials, tools and equipment needed
for the projects and issue the foreman daily instructions as per the work plan.
• Updating the Progress and Highlighting the Issues to Project Manager.
• Control the use of material and avoid damages and waste.
• Preparing technical submittals and Weekly reports.
• Scheduling and Rescheduling the Atrium Exhaust, Parking Exhaust Based on the Public
flow to the mall.
• Maintaining the record of regular Cleaning schedules of Water tanks, Restaurant
Ventilation Units, Prayer halls, Elevators, Escalators and Parking area.
• Having knowledge of all Maintenance works of HVAC works, Escalator, Elevators and
Plumbing works.
Heat load calculation using ASRAE standards.
• Duct designing using McQuay Ductsizer, Duct-route, Grill/ Diffuser planning
according to interior aesthetics in co-ordination with Architects and Interior
Designers. Along with proper Return Air calculations
• Planning, Designing, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Air Handling units for
Chilled Water System and Ceiling Concealed Ductable units and Unitary Package units for
Direct Expansion System.
• VRF system Pipe designing and routing.
• Over all execution and Supervision for all HVAC related Projects.
• Preparing technical submittals and weekly reports.
