Providing specialized technical expertise to solve various environmental and safety issues supporting 3, 500 personnel. Assist the ESH Manager with the administration and improvement of general and job specific ESH programs and operations. Provide assistance and technical guidance to supervisors on ESH matters. Preparing and conducting proactive inspections and assessments and prepare reports for presentation. Operating and maintaining a variety of ESH equipment and regularly monitoring pollution prevention programs such as air, water, HAZMAT and HAZWASTE. Developing and conducting briefings and training on ESH classes. Prepare reports on hazards in the work place, mishap and behavioural issues after investigation. Emergency Response Plans for spills and other incidents to reduce impacts. Participate in monthly safety improvement committees and meetings on ESH topics. Monitoring & training less experienced ESH Officers, technicians and specialists to help improve the effectiveness of the safety team. Extensive liaising with Program Managers, Safety Contracting Officer Representative and Manager’s from different disciplines. Design and implement safe work practices & SOPs for warehouses, lots maintenance work centres.
