I am functioning as a technical Surveyor by assisting in maintaining records, registering and managing data related to Asset Policy, Standards & Information Dept, , Prepare regular reports on performance activities and related information for management meetings, maintain an up-to-date database for the department to maintain and track information required to support activities and Prepare statistics and comparison studies on data, as requested.
I participated in the Project of updating the data of all the Pumping Station and Substation in Western Region (Madinat Zayed, Ghathi, Liwa, Mirfa, Ruwais, Sila and most of the Islands) and in Eastern Region -using GIS and GPS . The technique we utilized involved taking co-ordinate point from GIS system as guide and navigated in site to verify the location, also we can take plan as ship file from GIS and download in the handle GPS by ARC Bad program and make comparison between the GIS data and actual situation on site. If any discrepancies are found a direct edit to the GIS system is done or the new Data is collected and then downloaded and analysed through Pathfinder program.
My daily tasks include but not limited to the following points:
Issue the NOI certificate, here gives the contractors or consultants the GIS or AutoCAD drawing of all ADDC utilities or Proposed in there Project Location for shifting or redesign due to our utilities.
Suggest the Substation Locations after Technical site inspection and locate all the utilities in the vicinity and propose the suitable locations and follow up on the assignment of seeking approvals from other appropriate government authorities.
ITAL Consult
I participated as part of the team involved in the project of Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Al Madam - Al Shewab Road Work - after obtaining approval from Ministry of Public Works, my main function was consulting of Survey works, setting out the Road by using GPS - RTK and rechecking of the level by Using the Level instrument.

My duties include town planning related tasks such as determining plot boundaries for residential zones by using micro station program.
