Preparing Cost estimates based upon evaluation of tender documents, drawings, & schedules
and generating Quantity Take off Tables from Tender Drawings and Documents.
Floating Enquiries to Suppliers & Manufacturers and preparing comparison studies based on
suppliers quotations & analyze supplier quotes and provide information and data, which aids
communications with suppliers and customers and achieves cost optimization.
Assisting in compiling of tenders, preparing Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as
well project specific questionnaires. Attending Pre tender meetings and site visits and prepare
the Final Tender's Technical and Financial Proposals.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality management system for Estimation
Work & regular follow up meetings with sub-contractors and clients to maintain relationship
on future potential jobs for proposed services.
Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product based on
client’s budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies.
Monitor progress, requisition change orders and identify any potential risks after handover of
awarded jobs.
Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis review.
Responsible for planning, managing and ensuring smooth implementation as well as safety
and control of materials on site. Liaising with the project planning engineer regarding
construction programme and Spotting site construction issues and providing sound solutions,
along with addressing issues of the subcontractors in a timely manner and adhere to budget
guidelines regarding work hours and material.
Checking materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements and
observance of site safety requirements. Day-to-day management of the site, including
supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of the subcontractors.
Resolving technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and
statutory authorities.
Inspecting monitoring and recording defects, attending site meetings, maintaining detailed
site records and provide regular reports on power maintenance and quality control for
inclusion in the Client’s bi-weekly/monthly reports.
