Optics Presales Manager for Alcatel Lucent Saudi Arabia Jan 2010 :
As Part of international assignment In Alcatel Lucent MEA I have been recommended to lead the optics presales team in Saudi Arabia supporting the booming business need for DWDM Design and solution offering especially with 1830 PSS .
With the Below achievements
- First DWDM won project with STC for Alcatel Lucent with 1830 PSS Rel 3
- CCASG ( Strategic industries authority ) between 6 Gulf countires with Transmission connectivity using 1626 LM
- ZNCP ( Zain National Core Project )
Part of Regional PLM ( Product Line Management ) and consulting Engineers team for EMEA region

Support Technical Sales in selected opportunities to define winning offer strategy, identify product dependencies, and initiate actions for product roadmap influencing.
Drive the business development & Evangelization of new emerging technologies. Identify candidate first-off customers, such as Data Center Interconnect, SDN, Network Transformation, Strategic Industries, etc
Defining and promoting the best solutions & architectures available from our portfolio to deal with customers’ business challenges
Influencing customer technical teams to align with our long term roadmap and vision, as well as extracting customer perspectives to support our internal portfolio planning efforts through face-to-face discussions, customer workshops and presence at relevant events and trade shows.
Consolidate technical requirements of EMEA customers, interlocking and prioritizing them with the Business Unit

Currently working in Telecom Egypt Transmission Execution Department. Started January 2002.
Access Networks:
Responsible for delivering HDSL services to customers and following up their requirements then hand over this services up and running to customers and O& M department in Telecom Egypt .
Transmission and Data Core Networks:
Responsible for getting specific contract between Telecom Egypt and Equipments Providers into force.
Follow installation and commissioning progress according to project time schedule.
Solve any obstacles that face progress of the project .
Reporting to General Manager and escalating higher level issues.
Communicate valued customers and Execute their requests to Telecom Egypt like (City Stars, Equant, Microsoft, Cemex …etc.).
Projects involved in:
Extension of SDH Transmission Projects for Greater Cairo network for voice, mobile and data traffic by (SIEMENS and HUAWEI).
Currently involved in the implementation of the IP- MPLS core network project to support carrying of VOIP and Data Traffic delivered by Cisco Systems. With 12k and 10k and 7k Routers.
