As a Cyber Security Engineer, i am integral part of the organization's efforts to safeguard digital assets, prevent unauthorized access, and mitigate security risks. Leveraging my expertise in various security frameworks, tools, and programming languages, also critical role in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.
Responsibilities:
Security Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and maintain robust security infrastructure to protect against cyber threats.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of existing security measures to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices to ensure optimal performance.
Incident Response and Threat Mitigation:
Develop and implement incident response plans to swiftly address security breaches and minimize their impact.
Monitor network traffic and system logs for signs of suspicious activity, and respond promptly to security incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.
Security Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards such as ISO 27001 and 27002.
Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate security risks effectively.
Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
Security Awareness and Training:
Provide guidance and training to employees on best practices for maintaining security and protecting sensitive information.
Foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing the importance of adherence to security policies and procedures.
