Project Overview: -
The project is to move the Application Analysis & Approval processes upfront at the branch level from backend operations to achieve Instant Approvals. This includes changes in the process, procedures, instructions for all the four Retail products: - Cards, Personal Finance, Auto Finance & Real Estate. Implementation of Scorecards at the branches and also to define process to handle exception cases are also within the scope of this project.

Key Responsibilities: -
•Understanding the current credit approval process covering all the four retail products including the existing process, systems, people involved, governance & controls.

•Held and facilitated series of workshops with different stakeholders & C-Level executives across the bank to identify Strategic and Tactical opportunities and to agree on the decision criteria for Instant approvals using Scorecards, Employer category and other policy checks.

•Identification of Risk & Control considerations such Maker/Checker principal, SIMAH check, YAKEEN for moving the credit approval process at branches.

•Given support to the IT head and worked with business as a partner to understand the business requirement and translation of these requirements into IT project deliverables.

•Evaluated information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

•Collaborated with Developers, Architects, Subject matter experts and other IT team members to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs.

•Developed Business Requirement documents (BRD’s) for defining requirements around technology related changes and also developed process and procedure manuals for each product.

•Ensured that approved requirements are developed in sufficient scope and detail to result in the delivery of the solution that meets customer needs.

•Proactively communicated with all the project stakeholders and by being a focal point of contact and also providing presentations to other users as and when required.

•Participated in the User acceptance testing programs and consolidating user manuals and system documentation.

Project Overview: - The Project was to automate the entire manual claims process which provides the ability to create and distribute electronic outpatient pharmacy claims to insurance companies on behalf of pharmacy prescription beneficiaries in a real time environment. Claims are submitted when the outpatient pharmacy finished the process. This will benefit the providers as claim submission may be done at any time of the day or night.

Responsibilities:-
•Participated in different stages of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including eliciting and documenting requirements, preparing BRD to understand the functions of each process.

•Extensive experience in all areas of Insurance Industry- New Business, Underwriting, Claims Management, Products and Policy servicing.

•Proficient in UML methodology, Use Case Diagrams, Business Scenario, Screen flow, Wire Frames and also conducted GAP analysis and documented system and process inconsistencies.

•Performed Requirement Analysis by gathering both functional and non-functional requirements based on interactions with the process owners and stake holders and represented them in Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).

•Wrote detailed System specification, Use Case Diagrams, Business Scenario, Screen flow, Wire Frames and also conducted GAP analysis and documented system and process inconsistencies.

•Given support to the IT head and worked with business as a partner to understand the business requirement and translation of these requirements into IT project deliverables.

•Written complex PL-SQL Packages, Triggers and Stored Procedures for customization and extension of the application and extraction of data from the system.

Project Overview: The project was to develop software’s for different products of the bank like Auto Loans, Mortgages, Branches and Direct Sales Force (DSF) which in turn would automate the manual process of preparing the Daily, Weekly and Monthly financial reports. Played a key role in integration of these applications and support these applications post implementation.

Responsibilities:-
•Eliciting requirements from Business users and SME’s and documenting requirements and obtaining sign off.

•Conducted JAD sessions with IT groups. Identified the key changes and participated in Stakeholder Management to communicate effectively with them.

•Conducted feasibility studies for solution options and determined the best solution approach.

•Written complex queries and procedures for extraction of data which was based on Business Users requirement (AD-HOC requests) within the Turnaround Time (TAT).

•Determining priority according to the importance of the requirements and organizing the requirements so that they are understood by all stakeholders.

•Managing Project Administration: project plan, project reporting and overall project documentation like technical document procedures.

•Defined transition requirements to help the organization in moving from existing solution to the new solution.

•Performed a major role in migration and reconciliation of the business data for Credit and Debit Cards from Vision plus to Cognos.

•Assist to develop Test plan, Test Cases and Test Scenarios to be used in testing based on Business Requirements, Technical specifications and/or Product knowledge.

Project 1: Ratings Framework (GE-General Electricals)

Project Overview: The project involved developing and implementing a new application to assess the different skills and their ratings of employees based on the performance. Training followed by assessment is conducted in cases where the rating skill is below average. This helps in checking the performance of employees. The entire ratings information is stored in the application and the employees can only check their own ratings with the help of their GE ID.

Responsibilities:
•Interviewed Business Users to gather Requirements and analysed the feasibility of their needs by coordinating with the Project Manager and Technical Lead.

•Prepared Business Requirement Document (BRD’s) after the collection of Functional Requirements from System Users that provided appropriate scope of work for technical team to develop prototype and overall system.

•Interacted with users for verifying requirements, managing change control process, updating existing documentation

•Created relationships in Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking Business requirements to Functional requirements and Functional requirements to System requirements.

•Use Case and Process flow diagrams were designed using MS Visio.

•Ensuring designing of templates and data modeling in Oracle J developer and proper user requirement specification is made and updated accordingly.

•Created activity diagrams and sequence diagrams to analyse the requirements and recommend solutions.

•PL-SQL coding done for the functionality of the application.

•Conducted User Acceptance Testing, gathered and documented User Manuals and Business Rules.




Project 2: Servicer Reporting Log (S&P-Standard and Poors)

Project Overview: The Project Involved developing an online banking system where customers can access their accounts, view portfolios and trade stocks-options/mutual funds bonds. The application also provides detailed financial analysis and research for securities and fixed income products to Investors.

Responsibilities:
•Planning the Business Analysis approach, conducting stakeholder analysis and business analysis activities.

•Involved in requirements elicitation techniques like Interviewing, Brainstorming and meeting with stakeholders and created the requirements specification document.

•Created use case models using Rational rose to depict actors and Use-cases in various Business Process and identification of Basic/Alternative flows and definition of pre-conditions and post conditions of the system.

•Written PL-SQL coding for the functionality of the application and also developed AD-HOC reports according to the filtered requirements.

•Performed Gap Analysis for the modules in production, conducted the feasibility study and performed impact analysis for proposed enhancements.

•Verified the functional aspect as per the Business process and validated the interfaces with the other systems and data conversion from the legacy system.

•Impart trainings to different business users on using the new application.
