Duties and responsibilities:
• Oversees construction works of projects in accordance with the contract specifications, client’s instructions, work procedures approved drawings and method statements.
• Controls project’s cost, time, scope and quality.
• Handles all changes as instructed by the owner and coordinates with relevant AEB concerned parties for required implementation.
• Reports to LPM/CPO (CSD) of any changes which may have time and cost implications on the project.
• Monitors project resources and highlights deficiencies.
• Monitors all productivity related activities of contractors’ staff, labor and plant on site.
• Monitor work is carried out in accordance with contract documents and highlight any problems to the concerned parties.
• Monitors and directs the quality assurance and quality control for work to be carried out as per project’s contract quality requirement.
• Monitors master program and tracks critical paths and milestone for identifying them to contractor.
• Ensures minutes of meetings are taken down for follow-up actions.
• Follow-up of material submission, approval and procurement schedules.
• Directs Quantity Surveyors in monthly evaluations.
• Prepares monthly reports.
• Approve, controls and monitors project safety and environmental plans.
• Conducts on-going review of contract requirements as new instructions or documents are received from Client. Identifies appropriate staff to carry out detailed reviews.
• Liaises with sub-consultants, if any, to ensure all progressive works are well co-ordinated
• Ensures appropriate documents distribution among site team and follow up for the required actions by each site staff.
• Upgrade the site team skills and prepare them for higher levels of responsibilities.
• Ensure acceptable performance of site team and report to CPO-CSD on the same.
• Main accountable and responsible for HSE compliance and implementation at project level. Enforce Integrated Mgt. System and Approve relevant Project HSE Plan and Procedures.
• To ensure that the project is provided with certified, competent and adequate numbers of HSE staffs. Competent staff with skill, knowledge, experience and positive attitude.
• Ensure provision of adequate resources for Health, Safety and Welfare of all Project employees.
• Ensure Environmental programs for the protection from contamination and pollution control of project surroundings and natural resources. To eliminate or reduce environmental impact from office works and construction operation aspects.
Projects Handled:
• Jafza Convention Project - Dubai costing Dhs.2.0 Billion (B+G+35+Helipad - Mixed Use Development) consist of Hotel Building + Office Twin Tower + Convention Center with Food court, car park facility (3200 cars) on 4 levels.
• Julfar Twin Towers Project- RAK, costing Dhs.500 Million (B+G+43+Helipad - Mixed Use Development)
Summary:
Worked as Resident Engineer/Project Manager for the landmark & prestigious Twin Tower Project in Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E., Mixed Use Development (B+G+43+Helipad) consist of Commercial, Residential, Offices spaces with car park facility for 1500 cars in Basement / Ground level and 45 retail outlets with recreational facilities like Kindergarten, Swimming Pool, Spa, Gym, Food Court, Leisure Hall for a built up area of 1, 681, 925 S.ft.
Duties / Responsibilities
• Assisting the Director (H.O.) and leading a team of Construction Manager, Project Engineers, Site Inspectors, Architect, Structural Engineer, quantity surveyor & M.E.P Engineers.
• Reviewing of Material submittals / Technical submittals / Shop Drawings / Technical Query and Coordinating with Head Office for final approval.
• Chairing contractual / technical / weekly progress / safety meetings and preparing the minutes of meetings.
• Preparing the Monthly Progress Report and forwarding to the Client.
• Coordination for provisional sum, variation, claims & reviewing the Payment Certificate prepared by the consultant QS for Contractor Payment Application after completing joint inspection by all parties (Client / Consultant
/ Contractor) for the percentages of work done.
• Responsible for all correspondence with Client / Contractor.
• Maintaining Quality Assurance / Quality Control procedures and as per contract document, project specifications / drawings.
• Monitoring and Controlling for time frame schedule, cost and quality for different activities carrying out at the project site, avoid delays & to complete the project as per contract schedule.
• Arranging Daily Coordination Meeting with Contractor’s Project Manager to discuss the outstanding submittals / pending issues.
• Maintaining update log for Shop Drawing / Material submittal / Technical submittals and keeping track with Client / Consultant / Contractor.
• Checking overall contract administration of all trades including MEP.
Leading a team of Civil & MEP Project Engineers, Site Inspectors & QS.
Responsible for Correspondence with Client and Contractor

development areas and carrying joint inspections with sub‐
contractors for repairing of potable water line of different
diameters and potable water line services like fire hydrant,
valve chambers & etc.
* Reviewing technically & recommending the proposed
repaired materials required for different activities.
* Co‐ordination with Consultants and Sub‐Contractors for
smooth execution of work on site with Quality Assurance /
