Participate in the product design and systems integration and its procedures.
Drive efficiency and reduce cost by reviewing existing policies and procedures.
Evaluate data to identify issues and to minimize leakages to acceptable
tolerance
Identify projects and opportunities in consultation in coordination with the
Authority departments as well as the respective Agencies to help drive and monitor activities.
Detect, prevent and investigate all forms of fraud.
Handle alarms, analyze trends in fraud and suggest amendments to the fraud detection policies.
Review data load process ETL (Extract, Transfer and Load)
Currently responsiblefor Identifying and understanding business processes in the Company with
a special emphasis on revenue and costs (for all revenue streams - prepaid, post-paid, roaming,
VAS)
Identify and document revenue assurance risks and control points across business
Identify RA objectives and activities to meet such objectives
Evaluate impact score of each activity - based on likelihood of occurrence of a discrepancy and
significance of discrepancy
Estimate revenue / cost assured by conducting each activity based on a value model
Prioritize activities to be conducted by RA over the year and decompose RA plan into quarterly /
monthly / weekly plans
Re-evaluate plan on a monthly basis and obtain inputs from Revenue Assurance and Fraud
Management steering committee
Identify immediate list of activities that RA team must conduct with immediate effect
Identify if there are any new revenue streams and plan for conducting revenue assurance in
these streams
Plan for resources needed by the RA team (including identifying budget requirements) - people
(number and skills), tools, processes etc. and communicate business justifications to Senior
Management
Initiate and embed technological and organizational change into day-to-day processes to
proactively minimize the possibility of revenue leakage.
Assist in the creation of a revenue responsible organization, alert for revenue leakage, overbilling
and revenue maximizing opportunities.
Compliance to continually changing regulations in order to retain operating licence
Dynamic and fluctuating global GSM market - needs a proactive stance on future developments
impacting on billing and revenue assurance
Constantly changing business - RA is part of every product / service and is therefore affected by
every change
Need to understand the complexity of new technologies/ products and the impact of these on
the billing systems and PPP’s
Operating in a financial and management accounting environment with strict regulatory controls
and processes

CDR -Call Detail Record- Verifications and reconciliation for the accounts.

Handling Customer Care Complaints.
Daily check for IN platform Servers (SUN), report and trouble shoot any problems and escalate to
Alcatel Support whenever needed.
Daily CAPS -Call Attempts Per Seconds- Report for all services.
Automate the monitoring process via shell scripting
Daily Check for IN services, alarms, logs any misbehaving reported by the MTN call centre
