Quantity Surveyor
• Preparation of estimates for Initial budget proposals for the cost of the project.
• Co-ordination with Department Project manager, contract manager
• Preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ)
• Preparation of Monthly Valuation & Certification from consultant
• Monthly Cash Flow Preparation
• Arriving new rate for Non BOQ quantities items & other day work claims
• Attending commercial meeting with client, negotiating & agreeing additional claims
• Review of Contract documents
• Drafting of contractual correspondences
• Subcontractor rate finalization
• Take of quantities of area (civil, electrical and mechanical works from construction drawings)
• Thorough study & identification of contractual obligations of both parties
• Preparation of rate analysis for variation orders.
• Workout cost implication of variations and obtain approval from cost consultant
• Preparation of invoicing on Customers as per contract.
• Reconciliation of Client billing vs. Vendor billing.
Contracts & Tendering
• Coordinating with Supplier’s and getting quotes.
• Prepare Rate Analysis for new items.
• Arrive the Tender cost, Discussion with top Management to finalize the Tender cost.
• Tender Documentation and Tender closing.
• Receipt of Subcon requisitions from Site.
• Float Enquiries for various Sub contractors and receive Quotations from Sub contractors during
tendering stage.
• Negotiate and finalize the sub contractor in consultation with General Manager for the live projects
• Issue of work order’s for finalized sub contractor’s
• Preparation of Subcon Bills
• Reviewing the performance of Sub contractor’s in consultation with Site Project Manager.
• Drafting of correspondence to client/ consultant/ subcontractors.
Projects: PRIME MALL (SHOPPING MALL)
Commercial Building with an area of 4045 sq. m. (B+G+4+P floors). (COMPLETED)
Responsibility:-
• Responsible for site Execution activities, checking of Drawings, Planning, Billing cost & Material management
and Quality Control.
• Technical and feasibility studies including site investigation
• Preparation of Monthly Progress Report, Material approval schedule, Query, IRF and Resolving the technical
problems related to the projects.
• Identifying costing and processing any contract variation.
• Monitoring the project progress against planned programme.
• Monitoring the project expenditure in terms of proposed budget
• Co-ordination with consultant, client and subcontractor
• Procurement of material and equipment and expedite the delivery of same
• Conducting co-ordination and progress meeting in site
Projects: FARAAN P.U COLLEGE BUILDING
Building with an area of 3093 sq. m. (B+G+1 floors). (COMPLETED)
Responsibility:-
• Responsible for site Execution activities, checking of Drawings, Planning, Billing cost & Material management
and Quality Control.

Responsibility:-
• Planning and Management of activities at site based on the construction program prepared for the project in
co-ordination with the Project Engineer, Site in-charge and MEP department.
• Submit daily and weekly report to the Project Manager.
• Monthly bill submission in co-ordination with the QS department and follow up with the consultant and
client for its approval and release of payment.
• Co-ordinate with the Purchase department for the delivery of materials on time.
• Co-ordination with the Supervisors and the sub-contractors for the site activities and monitor their progress
and quality.
• Verification and approval of bills from the sub-contractor.
