Millennium Energy Industries (MEI), MEI is a leading turnkey solar solutions provider operating internationally from Chile to Europe and the Arab region. MEI successfully engineered and implemented the world’s largest solar heating system, a 25 MW thermal solar district heating plant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This project implemented in desert conditions, is double the size of the second largest globally.

Since 2002, MEI has been providing on a turnkey basis various solar heating, cooling, steam, and/or power (PV/CSP) solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential clients. MEI provides such solutions on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis, as well as on an Energy Services/BOOT/Lease basis.

MEI clients include; Dubai Refreshment Company, Abu Dhabi Educational Council, Schlumberger, Masdar City, the Governments of Saudi Arabia, Kempinski Ajman, Marriott and Movenpick Resorts, Nestle factory, and various other universities, hospitals, resorts, hotels, residential communities, oil/gas and industrial facilities.

My duties are:
*Report to General Manager on a daily basis all intelligence & product sales activities.
*Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
*Collate information and discuss with Managers any concerns prior to tendering.
*Liaise with clients and provide written sales quotations.
*Cultivate relationships with key customers and suppliers and undertake relevant external networking.
*Expedite outstanding quotations & assist credit control in aged payments.
*Maintain involvement in the purchase of stock items; prepare Sales Orders.
*Develop and handle all technical sales issues via principals.
*Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Account Executives.
*Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
*Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
*Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
*Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
*Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect application submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
*Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
*Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
*Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide adequate information to facilitate tracking, reporting and follow through by others when required.
*Run the business and operations in accordance with the division and company procedures and policies and general values
*Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
