Supervises the Quality Control functions/activities of a project or its parts, including Quality Control inspection schedules and the collection of Quality Records.
Assesses the implementation of the Quality Control Plans on the site.
Allocates Quality Control personnel to the various areas of site activity.
Inspect and evaluate the work area in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract documents, reporting deficiencies as appropriate and elevating issues as needed to ensure safe work practices and quality.
Develop, gather, maintain, and/or submit work plans, submittals, reports, etc.
Lead and document quality control meetings with the project team and/or customers; and provide written minutes.
Provide daily quality control reports to achieve desired quality outcomes in a timely manner by reinforcing activities that are being constructed in conformance with project-specific standards; and constructively confront non-conformance
Reviews the complete TOP documentation provided by the Commissioning Department and makes updates or corrections to the before mentioned documentation according to the commissioning needs on site.
Checks together with the Commissioning Lead early in advance the completeness of each package in the field before each turnover.
Makes invitations to turnover walk downs to all involved parties.
Verify with the Site Quality team that for each TOP, the necessary quality documentation from erection is complete and prepares the TOP certificates and ensures that all involved parties have signed after the turnover.
Compile individual punch-lists for each TOP and passes each of them to the Commissioning dept for close out.
Preparation of QA/QC packages as per the project inspection requirement.
Preparing of inspection report a work completion report for client
Fit-up and weld visual inspection, dimensional inspection, final inspection, NDT inspection as per Construction related codes (Piping, Steel structures & Storage tank).
Ensuring that the fabrications carried out in accordance with the approved plans, specification and procedures and regard also with the material grade (PMI) and welding works carried out by qualified Welders in accordance with the approved WPS.
Witnessing and approving welder’s performance qualifications tests (WQT & PQR).
Performing line checking inspection and preparing punch list according to the isometric drawing.
Review of Contractor Welding related documents (WPS, PQR, ).
Witness welding process Evaluation and witnessing about UT, MT, PT.
Checking the proper maintenance for all required test certificates concerning with materials, verifying the qualifying certificates of workmen and calibration certificates of equipment’s and instruments.
Preparation of QA/QC packages as per the project inspection requirement.
Review and inspect all the line and certify for pressure test, reinstatement and final hand over to Completion.
Check manufacturer’s consumable certificates compliance.
Preparing of inspection report a work completion report for client submission.
Witnessing Hydro test activities preparation of Inspection and test plans and coordinating with third parties.
Maintaining all correspondence and other transmittals from the Clients and other Contractor / Suppliers / Vendors etc. in a systematic way to facilitate an easy reference at all time.
All Quality Controlled Documents related to the Project are maintained to the latest issue, and that these documents are made available at all locations where operations essential to the effective functioning of the Quality Management System are performed.
Well aware of all types of Quality Documents like ITP, Checklist, RFI, Method Statements, Nonconformance Report, Technical Queries, Inspection Assignment Package, Disposition Report, Material Request, Technical Approval Request, Hydro Test Packages and other miscellaneous project contract documents.
Familiar with P& ID drawing and Coordination Engineering and concerned department.

• Mainly involved in the Inspection of piping.
• Performing welding repair analysis.
• Reviewing or ensuring Nondestructive testing in RT, MT, and PT of a specific weld joint.
• Coordinate NDT activities with Client QC department.
• Conducted thickness testing of pipelines with UT technique to inspect for corrosion.
• Utilized other functionalities like Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Testing
• Perform adequate testing based on specifications provided.
