Duties:
Recruitment, and envelopment
▪ Drive and support recruitment and selection activities ensuring compliance with recruitment process
▪ In collaboration with HR/Admin Manager, specialist will support senior management team and project managers in adopting new approaches for recruitment in emergencies.
▪ Ensure proper onboarding process well understood by both HR and Line-managers.
▪ Ensure oversight and consistency in position titles and grades, across all field locations
▪ Support staff development activities, including creation of development channels with possible resources.
▪ In collaboration with HR/Admin Manager, provide technical support on HR complicated area and ensure that minimum standards are in place.
Performance, well-being and compensations & benefits
▪ Support the senior managers and staff in understanding performance tools, dealing with employees’ grievances and disciplinary issues as required, with focus on building managers competency and ensuring proper documentation is kept.
▪ Support HR team and other staff in understanding the performance management process, and in collaboration HR/Admin Manager to support senior management in managing poor performance issues.
▪ Act as an impartial mediator in disciplinary procedures and ensure it is administered in an equitable and fair manner and meets all legal and labor regulations and requirements.
▪ Support HR/Admin Manager in lead people well-being initiatives.
▪ Work closely with staff medical issues, and ensure that all DRC standard staff have access to medical insurance with their dependents.
▪ Support in promoting DRC goals and values, and ensure that DRC CoC regulations are well understood and adhered to by all staff country wide
Human Resources Policies and Support
▪ Support HR/Admin Manager in reviewing HR applicable policies as necessary.
▪ With HR/Admin Manager, proactively pursue continuous process improvement in Human Resources related practices in order to enhance the quality and efficiency of output/delivery
▪ Coordinate with HR/Admin Team Leaders to ensure that all HR relevant info/data are regularly combined, reviewed, updated and kept.
▪ Support HR/Admin Manager in localizing the new polices/templates and ensure well understanding and compliance.
▪ Being a Super user for dynamics, HR module, following up the technical issues and provide guidance on the system to HR team and other light users country wide
