1. As PhD degree holder of South Asian History from the University of Karachi (Pakistan) in 2012, I joined a private university Greenwich University in Karachi as Assistant Professor/Research Coordinator. My responsibilities included Teaching and Research in the Social Science and Humanities field. (a) Taught various courses related to Sociology, IR, and History. (b) As Academic Coordinator, I also performed my responsibilities to look after the admission and research thesis process of Bachelors, Masters and PhDs students. (c) As an External Examiner attended PhD Defense of thesis (d) As Associate Editor of two HEC Recognized Journals New Horizons and Journal of Business Strategies, Greenwich University, Karachi. (e) Members of Academic Committees in the universties. (f) Publications: Research Articles on the topics of South Asian history published in national and international journals with eminent co-authors.
(g) Acheived several certificates for participation of international conferences and seminars where papars were read on the topics of history and culture.
Traveled in India, Germany, France.
Languages spoken: English, Urdu, Sindhi, and can read Gujarati.
2. Early retired from government service as Administrative Assistant. 1988-2015.
In 1988, I was appointed as Clerk in federal government service with main responsibilities of Payroll Accounts, Prepare Salary bills. File Record maintenance. Communication with AGPR office. Promoted as Assistant in 1999 with similar responsibilities. I opted for Pre-maure Retirement with pension in 2015, to get a chance in university job after award of PhD degree.
PhD in South Asian History (under program MPhil leading to the PhD), Thesis titled “History and Culture of Meghwar from the earliest times to the modern age” submitted at University of Karachi, Karachi. Degree awarded in 2012.
