Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Tubes, Metrology & CMM Inspection.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Supplier Technical Reviews/Manufacturing Feasibility Reviews with CFTs for part/component design
finalization
• Sample Batch Release of development parts for Engineering validation & testing
• PPAP Approval and subsequent safe launch processes (monitoring of first 3 production lots)
• Ensure On-time Supplier Response to Quality Issues reported from plant and review supplier corrective
actions for disposition
• Monitor and Track Supplier Quality Performance of assigned suppliers
• To verify and approve Engineering Release (ER) and changes (ECN) raised by the supplier.
• Make supplier quality workplan for critical/problematic suppliers and monitor adherence to the assigned
work plan for quality improvement
• Plan & Execute process/product audit of assigned suppliers and ensure timely closure of audit points

• Responsible for Supplier product development from Scratch to Product launch - 6 months follows ups
• Ensuring the products approved for ROHS, EN71A-P3 compliance team
• Lead QMS auditor for all the supplier
• Reducing the in process & Assembly rejection & Lean concept system
• Packaging Specification finalizing with end customer & Brand approval
• NPD developing with CFT team
• Collaborate & coordinating the meetings with Global team

Conversant In Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Machining Components, Aluminum Die
Casting, Forging, Machining, Heat Treatment, Metrology & CMM Inspection.

Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for process evaluation and PPAP approval as per Cummins Engineering standards.
• Supplier technical support / feasibility Study with supplier /Conducting Technical Review.
• To carry process and product audits on regular intervals at supplier end.
• To conduct initial sample inspection and performance test to ensure new parts meeting specification.
• To verify and approve Engineering Release (ER) and changes (ECN) raised by the supplier.
• Co-ordinate with engineering and sourcing for improvements and cost reduction projects.
• To analyze the root cause, coordinating with both the supplier and engineering to get permanent
solution for in-house and field failures.
• Preparation of monthly supplier performance reports.
• Core member in development of Hp lines, Al flywheel HSG, Sheet metal Sump, Cover front, cover
valve, Valve spring, Data plates, engine mounting brackets & Returnable Skids.
• Achieved zero rejection in engine assembly for flywheel housing bolt not elongation issue.
• Benchmarking and cost reduction projects for machining commodity with market rivets.
• Manufacturing quality Verification (MQV) conducted for all major suppliers.

• Handling a team of inspectors and ensure the quality of receipt part with respect to the sampling plan.
• Responsibility for process evaluation and PPAP approval of suppliers.
• Well Experienced in Standards Room & CMM machines.
(MCOSMOS V-3.2 Make-Mitutoyo, PCDMIS V-4.2 -Make-Brown & Sharpe, CAM2MEASURE-V-10.2,
GEOMAGIC V-2013 -Make Faro Edge Platinum 2.4 meters).
• Experienced in preparing and maintaining all standards room, CMM records and supplier quality documents.
• Completed the EMS AUDIT 14001-2004 for the Quality Assurance department successfully.
• Responsible for part development and approval as per the Nissan Engineering Standards.
• Product and process audits at vendor site and follow ups of recommended actions.
• Knowledge in Engineering Drawings, Designing the Gauges & Fixtures.
• Able to handle all measuring instruments. (Macro Scope, UTM, Surface Tester).
