• Spearheaded team efforts in implementing SAMA cyber security framework, NCA cyber security controls and architecture in compliance with organizational policies and statutory regulations.
• Responsible for all information technology infrastructure, systems and shared services, including (but not limited to) data center and disaster recovery site, physical and virtual servers, storage and backup infrastructure, wireless, local area and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), unified Communication, call center, video conferencing and overall infrastructure security
• Directs computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
• Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company to ensure the computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company’s growth and objectives. Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Ability to translate Business needs into technology requirements that supports the company's Business objectives, and to successfully manage all phases of IT Projects from needs analysis and requirements definition to vendor, implementation, and training.
• Successfully implemented over 20 new security solutions in terms of
identified, potential security threats in daily business transactions.
• Proficient in managing IT and security budgets, developing and implementing IT & security policies and procedures encompassing architecture, security, and disaster recovery.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT including downtime, reporting service levels, defining and tracking IT operational metrics and provide status to management.
• Drive short and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated and introduced within the company. Assess new computing technologies to determine the potential value for the company.
• Managing protocols and standards, including Active Directory, MS Exchange, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery.
• Currently involved in the Haramain High Speed Railway Project in Saudi Arabia.
• Data & Control center establishment, Installation and configuration of various servers, applications, services, end to end implementation of Operation and Support.
• Responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and support of the IT infrastructure in OCC/BOCC (Operational Control Center/Backup Center).
• Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors, and contract client & consultants SRO (Saudi Railways Organization) & DBI Engineering Consulting
• Project planning time and cost estimate required to meet milestones and successful project delivery.
• knowledge of Data center, Cloud Architectures, Virtual environments and Networking/Connectivity concepts for Enterprise level implementations.
• Ability to design, guide and implement procedures between various infrastructure, network and application components pertaining to the designed architecture.
• Experience with Vmware, Databases, backup and recovery, veritas clusters, AD, DNS, SQL Server, workstations and etc.
• Perform testing of all servers, connections, installations and implement policies as per requirements.
• Monitoring and controlling the installation, T&C, performance and status of the infrastructure in OCC/BOCC.
• Lead a team including Infrastructure/Systems engineers and/or technicians.
• Interface with Enterprise Infrastructure and Database teams to coordinate delivery of solution components.
• Work within the team and with external teams for project delivery and escalated operational support.
• Work with various vendors and service providers to ensure productive environment.
• Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports.
• Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications.
• Maintain good working relationships with all service providers and vendors to ensure that
services received meet expected requirements.
* Installed, maintained and performed troubleshooting tasks for
the networks and monitored network usage and optimized it based on employee needs.
* Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure
outcome and consequences of design.
* Design, install, analyze and implement computer systems and networks. Also configure and install LANs, WANs
network segments, and intranet systems. Also administer servers, computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls,
smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
* Design, build, or maintain web sites and mobile applications using authoring or scripting languages, content
creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
