A project manager for a project-oriented organization who signed a lump sum contract with Palm Hills Developments a strategic customer in Egypt, a waterfall project, contract scope is to deliver core & shell units to the end user. assigned as Project manager starting Initiating phase site handing-over and kick-off meeting with major stakeholders as requested by project sponsor, collecting required information, discussing contract terms, contract clarifications. in parallel to daily management activities & meetings with resident engineer coordinating technical aspects of project & all concerned disciplines Civil, Structural, Arch, Mechanical & Electrical. I'm leading planning, executing, monitoring, working closely with project team technical office engineers responsible for issuing shop drawings, technical submittals, quantity survey and all required technical office activities to report properly to external & internal departments. Managed procurement process starting planning phase and identifying the qualified vendors, conducting procurements & controlling. Contract received an additional scope via work site instruction initiated by directive PMO, affected schedule & cost were assessed through change requests with the related cost assessment, and updated schedule.
