Responsible for driving and coaching a team of three account managers to achieve business goals
Responsible for sales and account management in territory
- Responsible for efficiently responding to the incoming enquiries for Chennai and Bangalore markets.
- Follow up with the leads received.
- Ensure that the conversion ratio is high.
- Prepare and send the quotations and proposals to the prospective clients.
- Continuous follow-up with the prospective clients. Ensure revert from the client.
- Maintains client relations
- Participate and assist in the promotional activities.
- Utilize maximum time on field, getting reference and paying courtesy and follow up visits to the clients.
- Cold calling, book appointments with prospective clients
- Presentation to the client about Glatt & Glatt Products
- Gather market & customer information
- Follow-up with the backend for availability of the stock.
- Update sales information in ERP
- Carry out all activities as per the Marketing Activity report like: competitor machines, getting testimonials, reference, etc.
Reporting to Vice President Plant Operations
1. Responsible for the Facilities operations budget to cover all funding requirements for all materials, supplies, personnel, equipment and utilities.
2. Is responsible for insuring the use of manual and/or computerized maintenance management systems.
3. Monitors all operational activities of Plant Operations.
4. Is responsible for policies, rules and procedures for Plant Operations. Responsible for updating and maintaining the Facilities Operations Maintenance Manual.
5. Consults with appropriate staff regarding maintenance and operations.
6. Directs and implements training programs for Facilities and Plant Operation’s.
7. Insures that Preventative Maintenance program activities are being carried out in all areas of Plant Operations.
8. Directs the distribution functions, inventory control.
9. Oversees the preparation of graduation setup and teardown.
10. Evaluates personnel under direct supervision and reviews all evaluations in Plant Operations.
11. Prepares reports and communications relating to the Plant Operations.
12. Directs and implements energy program initiatives.
13. Assists the Plant head in the preparation and forecasting the Plant Operations three year planning and budget outlay needs.
14. Responsible for College-wide Security, Custodial, HVAC, and other Facilities related
facilities services contracts.
15. Responsible for the building and grounds inspections regarding heath, safety. This includes following up on completed work orders.
16. Responsible for directing Emergency Operations when needed for preparation,
damage assessment and recovery operations.
17. Responsible for Total Quality Management and team building for all areas of Facilities
Operations.
18. Responsible for tracking of all utility billing to minimize energy and water consumption.
19. Perform related duties as assigned.
Mini project title: Pneumatic braking system in diesel loco motive (INDIAN RAILWAYS) Description: This project is completely deals with working of pneumatic air brake system in diesel loco motive. Application and removal of brakes through usage of a feed pipe and brake pipe, with maintained pressure produced by a device known as expressor. It is a successor to the VACCUM brakeing system that has used earlier. Main project title: Description: DESIGN AND MANUFACTUREING OF EXPERIMENTAL SET UP TO DETERMING THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF LIQUIDS. • This project is mainly deals with the design and determination of thermal conductivity of liquids. • It is a RESEARCH PAPER that has not yet proved to accurate results as study of liquids is a complex study. • We have successfully constructed the apparatus that yielded a result about 2% of errors. The design of the apparatus i.e. thermal conductivity cell was designed using SOLID WORKS. This project is likely to be exhibited at IIT Chennai.
