· Built the IT Security function from scratch, take over various security related functions from other depts. And consolidate all in one new department.
· Built and Managed IT security team responsible for operating all security tools within Bank al-Jazira, effectively protecting infrastructure and data from all kinds of threads.
· Building awareness campaigns for all staff.
· Monitoring network infrastructure for any suspicious activities and report to SIRT
· Worked as lead for achieving PCI compliance for the bank and responsible for maintaining the certification every year.
· Lead many initiatives and project in the security field.
· Managing and operating security tools including: Bluecoat proxy, FireEye, IPS/IDS, Active Directory, Endpoint Protection, McAfee Vulnerability Manager, Cisco ASA Firewall, Cisco VPN, Juniper SRX firewall, Juniper ISG Firewall, Cisco ASE NAC solution, Symantec Mail Gateway, Certificate Management tool, Internal and External DNS, Tripwire, F5, Nexthink.
· Effectively dealing with various security audits and certifications, building solutions to close gaps and monitor the compliance
· Vendor management, performing POCs and solutions technical evaluation and selection.
· Major role in building Security Operations center.
· Responsible for building and maintaining security of ATM machines.
· Monitoring/reporting for security components.
· Provide user support for application, OS and network issues.
· Administer DNS, Active Directory, Cisco Firewalls, Switches and routers.
· Preparing configuration standard for network devices and preparing workstations/servers.
· Managing and optimizing the bandwidth between head office and remote branches.
· Operate and monitor ATM network in terms of security and availability, helping ATM vendors customize ATM system to our minimum standard.
· Administer and support Etradeal telephony system dedicated for dealers along with ACS Evolution voice recording system and Speachlog recording system.
· Help o operation of Avaya telephony system.
· Major role in building the first network in the university.
· Manage and operate the network.
· Prepare and maintain computer lab computers.
· Lecturer for practical parts of computer subjects including C++ programing and Object-Oriented Programing, Web Design, Office applications . . .etc.
· Provide support to the students perform their projects and assignments.
· Responsible for building solutions to customers related to networking and building software applications.
· Helping various customers finding solution to their business and compliance requirements.
