UAE Etisalat Network Modernization Project (2G Swap, 3G, LTE Rollout and Expansion)
Huawei Technologies - The Biggest Huawei project in the Middle East region- Level “A” Project.
The project involves swapping of 2G (G900 and G1800) Motorola/Ericsson/Alcatel equipment with Huawei BTS3900, Rollout and Expansion of 3G (U900 and U2100) and LTE (800 and 1800) for more than 6000 sites across the UAE including all sites type
(Inside Building Sites - IBS, Macro & Micro sites).
Responsibilities:
§ Supervising and managing subcontractors on-site installation according to agreed standards such as installation of Jumpers, Feeders, Power cables, Fiber cables, Hybrid couplers, Combiners, Duplexers, Triplexers, Splitters, TMA and BTS equipment such as TP4860C, OMB, Minishelter, APM30H, UBRI, WBBP, UMPT and LBBP.
§ Reviewing site survey reports (TSSR) to maintain site is installed as per the site solution.
§ Escalating any issue which requires customer involvement such as DAS modification, Antenna installation, Delta Stand or RRU rack installation, change of project solution and Transmission.
§ Commissioning and integration of new sites using Scripts, and MML commands.
§ Configuring and testing EXTERNAL ALARMS after integration.
Implementation coordinator-LTE Project- DXB region

LTE-Etisalat Project -Upgrade of 80 LTE sites in DXB region.
Responsibilities:
§ Responsible to manage the subcontractors and site engineers for the rollout activities of Huawei new LTE sites to assure sites are on air within the defined outage time.
§ Preparing SWAP Plans for the teams.
§ Training, support in technical issues and controlling the performance of new site engineers to ensure the implementation progress is moving as per required by upper management.
§ Coordinating with Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth process of Material inbound/outbound as per created Material Requests (MR). Ensuring Site-wise installation plan is met on daily basis.
§ Coordination with OMC to troubleshoot fault in Site Scripts new sites having variable RAN Scenario GO, UO, GL, G+U and GL+U
Regional QC Engineer & Acceptance Interfacing Coordinator with Etisalat- NE Region

· Quality inspection for the IBS/DAS/Outdoor (Etisalat sites).
· Well experienced in quality standards and acceptance requirements.
· Preparing Quality audit and snag clearance plans and decision making points for the project for the Modernization non-turnkey sites.
· Making documentations for monitoring the progress.
· Direct interfacing and updating the client’s acceptance department about the task achievements
· Site Auditing and preparation of PAT checklist for NE region.
· Preparing presentations and conducting regularly meetings with Huawei Quality teams.
· Maintaining and delivering the sites as per the customer quality standards and SQI.

1- Installation / Upgrading of 250-1000KVA TRANSFORMERS, RMU’S, FEEDER PILLARS (A, B and C types) and SERVICE PILLERS with and without foundation in different areas related to the Federal Electricity and water Authority.
2- Dismantling and Erection of LV/HV Wooden Poles, Drop Out Fuses and Lightening
Arrestors, X arm section and Intermediate X arm, Disk and Pin Insulators.
3- Excavation and laying of single core x 630 mm cables, 3 cores x 95mm and 3 core x 300 mm XLPE Cables for the connections between the following:
The overhead 11000 Volt line with RMU’s.
Transformers with Feeder Pillars.
Drop out fuses with 100 and 250 KVA Transformers.
Feeder Pillars with Feeder Pillars and Service Pillars, etc ….
Projects.
Working for Critical National Infrastructure Authority (CNIA) in securing Gas stations
with a Security fence consisting of sensors and camera poles, laying of fiber optic
Cables for the protection of the Gas/Oil Pipelines of ADCO areas which is one of the
biggest Government projects in Abu Dhabi Oil and Gas field.
Main Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site
Labor force and the work of contractors.
Obtain the permit to work (PTW).
Carry out Daily Tool Box Talks.
Daily Activities Reports including coordination of construction Schedules .
Preparation and Communication of the Method Statements and Risk Assessment with the workforce prior commencing the work.
Carry out inspection of all equipments/tools on site prior commencing the work.
Present on the site through whole duration of work activities.
Monitor HSE performance.
Attending regular meetings with Project and Site Managers to keep them informed of progress.
