Establish and maintain project controls processes and procedures -Schedule Manual Guide - to ensure that project activities are carried out in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Assessing, analyzing, and approving schedules as per standards, best practices, DCMA-14 points, and Client requirements with ensuring its compliance with the project’s objectives and scope of work while considering technical expert judgment.
Reviewing and approving any claims regarding Extension of time.
Monitor and Measure projects performance using appropriate tools and techniques such as Earned Value Management (EVM), Key performance Index (KPI), critical path Method (CPM), etc... to identify and quantify any variance and analyze the effect on the baselines and recommend work-around to cover them.
Developing and maintaining dynamic Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights on overall projects status, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
Identifying and prioritizing project risks, conducting comprehensive risk analysis using P&I matrix to develop effective response strategies. (Mitigate, transfer, avoid and accept).
Gathering and documenting lessons learned and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for planning process improvement and optimization with proper PDCA.
Integrating data from the Planning Department into various ERP systems, including Oracle EPPM and Unifier.
• Study and understand the scope of work from the Drawings,
BOQ and specs in order to review and approve the plan of
Works, after obtaining all technical support from PM/TL’s
and other experts.
• Review and approve projects schedule according to
standards, best practices and client requirements.
• Generate Weekly, Monthly Progress Reports, performance
reports and also High-level reports to the management and
clients.
• Monitor, Measure projects performance using appropriate
tools and techniques (EVM, KPI’s, etc.) in order to identify
and quantify any variance and analyze the effect on the
baselines and recommend work-around in order to cover it.
• Organizing meeting with contractors for review work
progress.
• Study and understand the scope of work from the Drawings,
BOQ and specs in order to prepare the plan of Works, after obtaining all technical support from PM/TL’s and other
experts.
• Using appropriate knowledge, best practices, tools and
techniques to Prepare and develop projects schedule also engineering & procurement plans based on their project
timeline, scope baseline, resource plan and any constraints.
• Assist project team to develop status reports to keep
management informed on project progress.
• Generate Weekly, Monthly Progress Reports, performance
reports and also High-level reports, based on project team feedbacks, Updates & records.
• Monitor, measure project performance using appropriate
Tools and techniques (EVM, KPI’s, in order to identify and
quantify any variance between actual and baselines.
• Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect
of variances and changes on the schedule baseline and
recommend work-around.
Assisting the Sr. Planning in the following area:
• Prepare Weekly & Monthly Reports for monitoring the
progress of projects using the Planning Software
Primavera6.
• Tracking materials submittals, approval and supplying.
• Earned Value Analysis and monitoring parameters.
• Prepare and review plan / schedule for work.
• Organizing meeting with contractors for review work
progress.
and Responsibilities
* Follow up with site engineers of Contractor and subcontractor to
ensure that work is being carried out as per design drawings,
specifications & meeting planned dates in schedule
* Interact with Project Manager for clarification in design
* Daily reporting about progress, non-compliance, delay in work to the
Project Manager.
* Conducting regular job site inspections
