• Provide executive-level IT vision and strategy to company’s leadership team with a focus on leveraging technology to streamline processes, accurately capture data and report of key metrics and performance indicators in an effective manner.
• Research and recommend new products, identify new market opportunities and lead efforts to improve IT processes.
• Manage IT operations, IT Infrastructure and systems analysis functions for Amman, Dubai, London, Kuala Lumpur and Boston offices
• Develop service level agreements and manage to accepted performance levels for application availability, response time and network performance.
• Establish and support a governance structure that aligns IT initiatives with business priorities while balancing resource constraints (human and fiscal) to optimize IT investments.
• Establish an IT budget and manage spending against budget on an ongoing basis.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the IT portfolio including actual vs. expected results, budgets and project duration.
• Manage technical projects in alignment with organizational goals and direct the effective delivery of networks, development, and disaster recovery systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) that supports a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure timely and effective restoration of data and IT services in the event of any disaster or failure.
• Identify, negotiate and monitor IT outsourcing contracts, and oversee relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• SAP administration ECC 6.0 (Authorizations, Users)
• SAP installation, Backup/Restore and bug fixing
• Plan and execute IT Projects
• Risk analysis, recovery plans and status reports preparation for projects and tasks
• Maintaining and applying IT and security policies
• Maintaining high availability and redundancy for running systems
• Resources Coordination to Complete the Assigned responsibilities
• Provide support to SARAYA local and remote technical skilled team for desktops, laptops, Data center, environmental monitor systems, security access control and surveillance
• Good experience with Microsoft products including windows Server 2000/2003/2008, Hyper-v technology, SQL 2005/2008, MOSS 2007 and exchange 2000/2003/2007
• Managing and maintain the enterprise backup system
• Managing and maintain the main SAN storage network
• Maintain the network infrastructure for all services and assist in configuring and maintaining Active network devices
• Monitor internet connectivity and coordinate/expedite cabling/wiring activities
• Monitor the security solutions to ensure that Saraya’s data & IT assets are well secured
• Manage different services including Remote management tools, Enterprise IP Telephony System, and Internet content filtering
• Manage and enhance the corporate content and collaboration platform
• Provide end users intermediate training upon the release of new IT or communications services
• Service Level Management with external providers and quality assurance
• Administering and troubleshooting IT Networks including Windows Server systems and Cisco switches and routers
• Supervising and administering total of 100 IP Cameras distributing in the whole company using DVRs
• Support ITC’s sister companies in the term of troubleshooting and establishing all their IT relative cases
• Communicate with main vendors to negotiate maintenance contracts, required IT solutions and financial offers
• Administer systems backup in the company using VERITAS software and regular Windows backup (Daily, Weekly and monthly)
• Troubleshooting and managing third-party software like Web sense and Symantec.
