Assisting & implementing budgets plans to managing projects as per organizational needs
Identifying the most appropriate Sub-contractors for Wind Turbine Projects in India & Srilanka
Developing and implementing key procurement strategies / purchase schedules from the vendors and ensuring alignment with project schedule in co-ordination with SCM team
Key co-ordination with Logistics team in preparing shipment, port clearance, delivery plan in line with the project schedule
Member of CRM project team. Co-ordination and assistance to customer in all phases of project activities
SAP super user for project related activites
Responsible for land development including land procurement, ROW for transmission lines & Scada, local statutory approvals
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Progress - Monitoring whether deliverables are being completed within the base lined time scales
• Cost - Analysis of Precal vs. Postcal in regular intervals in order to have control over the project budget
• Quality - Conducting regular audits to ensure that the deliverables are being completed as per the standard process/ procedures
• Cash flow - Preparation of monthly cash inflow and outflow statements
• SHE - Safety first is the key factor in all aspects of the project
• Risk - To prepare risk analysis and mitigation plans before the commencement of project and monitor the same at regular intervals
Contract Management
Identifying and developing potential vendors/ suppliers for achieving cost effective purchases of Raw Materials; achieving reduction in prices and timely delivery.
Contracting with the Vendors for high Cost resources such as Cranes & Tools
Following up with suppliers for timely supply of materials.
Assessing performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement, timely delivery, credit terms etc.
Overseeing follow-up with vendors for timely deliveries, release schedules, quality checks & ensuring timely payments.
EPC ACTIVTIES
• Development of roads & Path way for WTG materials movement
• Construction of Sub Station for commissioning the Wind Turbine Projects
• Construction of EHV Lines and over head Lines for Wind Turbine Projects
• ROW -Identification of shortest line routes from Substation, acquiring Right of way for the same.
• Statutory approvals - Liasoning with State Utility, Forest, Revenue departments for respective approvals for project commencement
• Identification of vendor for Substation construction, ROW works, Scada works, Land procurement, Road formation.
Role:
Project Manager for particular Project
Co ordination with Stake Holders for On time completion of Project
Preparing the Cost sheet for the Project and also completing the project with in the Budget
Co ordination with customers for getting the Payment
Satisfying the Customer Requirements contractually so as to enable to get the payment
Co ordination with site for on time completion
Setting targets to site for achieving the Targets
Reviewing the daily status from site and arresting the gaps if any for completion of Project.
Finalizing the Sub contractor for completion of Project
Role:
Estimating projects and preparing of tender activities and evaluating & comparing the quotes.
Planning & scheduling the projects and identifying material requirements & purchase components.
Controlling supplier performance relative to time & quality and identifying new source of supply.
Performing necessary coordination activities for the completion of project.
Controlling the Contract Administration and planning the risk management.
Monitoring the risk and conducting necessary meetings for the completion of project
