Responsibilities
• Reviewing designs and specifications to understand the project installation
• Preparing commissioning plans and commissioning checklist documents
• Performing field inspections
• Providing daily reports
• Communicating status regularly to the client and internal management
• Working with the project team to resolve issues
• Working with the testing and balancing contractor to ensure systems are properly balanced
• Participate in the vendor training process
• Preparing final commissioning reports and turnover packages
• Organizing and executing work within project budgets and schedules
Responsibilities
• Studying the project specifications and follow up with required Material submittals, Method of statements and other required procedures.
• Preparation of Work Program schedule as per the Main contractor Program schedule.
• Follow up on Material deliveries with Procurement department.
• Follow up on long lead items as per the scheduled delivery dates
• Get all the Shop drawings approval from consultants.
• Preparing MOM for the weekly meetings.
• follow up on the approvals for the Material Submittals with proper record.
• Studying the Approved drawing and check if there are any clashes with other services.
• Raise MR for Material take-off according to shop drawings and as per requirement on site.
• Raise MIR for the materials delivered on site prior to any installations
• Maintaining records for all inspections.
• Allocating manpower as per the work plan.
• Execute installation and supervise the work in all Mechanical systems.
• Ensuring that the work progresses smoothly, bottlenecks anticipated and effectively removed with the aim of successfully completing the project within the time schedule.
• To follow up on Builders works with civil team for mechanical system.
• To follow up on the installation of Ducting, Refrigerant piping, Chilled water piping, Insulations of Ducting, Ref. piping, CHW. piping, Installations of indoor and outdoor units of FCU, AHU, FAHU,
Pressurization System, fixing of grills, diffusers, louvers, registers.
• To follow up on Smoke test and Light test for ensuring of no leakage is present in Duct installation.
• To follow up on Refrigerant pipe Pressure testing, flushing process, machine connections, Chilled water pipes Pressure testing, chemical cleaning treatment, valve package installation.
• To follow up on the installation of Water supply, Drainage, Rainwater piping routes, GRP tank installation, water meter room installation, Gully trap, Grease trap, Manhole drainage lines, FIC connections, Sumpit pumps, Booster pumps installations.
• To follow up Pressure test, Leak test, Gravity test as per standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering discipline in all aspects during development of work as per approval.
• Maintaining good and healthy relations with and between the various contractors working at site.
• Site inspections to all mechanical works related to material, finish of works, RFI in case of any changes or modification.
• Raise of WIR for all works completed to maintain proper records and prevent rework.
• Ensure complete execution of work, quality of workmanship, safety of work.
• Prepare check list for all the installation prior to consultants’ inspection.
• To update any changes in site activities as per coordination with other
departments to the management.
• To update the management regarding Variations, if any changes are done to completed site work or to approved drawings from Client, Consultant or Main contractor.
