As a head of the health center some of my key responsibilities are:
- Managing the daily activities of the health center and staff.
- Responsible for accident and emergency medical treatment to maternal, child health and
control of non-communicable diseases according to the latest evidence-based medicine.
- Managing hospital referrals and School Health.
- Dealing sympathetically with sensitive circumstances.
- Keeping up to date with the latest treatments, medicines and medical developments.
- Trained new junior doctors.
- Implementation of primary health care programs (preventive and curative) for the community
- Conduct pre / periodical medical examination of employees ( pre deployment medical
clearance ), counselling, health promotion, sick leave management
- Implementation of annual work plans and monitoring and evaluation plans.
- Management and direction of the activities of the Health Centre Staff -12 employees -(dental
surgeons, nursing staff, laboratory technicians, and administrative personnel).
- Preparation of reports on weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Management and implementation of public health surveillance programs.
- Supervising projects implementation at the health center.
- Focal point for the Area Protection Work Group - planning and implementing refugee
protection policies (Gender Based Violence GBV - Child protection - Mental health and
psychosocial support MHPSS ) .
- E-health support and troubleshooting

- Conduct periodical medical examination of employees
- Ensure compliance of health check up for all staff.
- Initiate and conduct occupational health and safety awareness

medical officer at ER and had rotations on every ward covering most of the departments
