Ph.D. in Biochemistry Field of study: Biophysical and Immunological studies, Diabetes I have completed my Ph.D. degree at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. Ph.D. thesis title - Immunochemical studies on glycooxidatively modified insulin. During my Ph.D., I have developed skills in interpreting biophysical data. In addition to this, I have hands-on experience in biophysical & biochemical techniques, immunological techniques, microscopy, molecular biology techniques and basic bioinformatics. I am familiar with various methods of nanoparticle synthesis, animal handling, and basic cell culture techniques. Moreover, I am familiar with blood samples collection and data analysis.
M.Sc. Dissertation, Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit (IBU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India. Title- Rapid green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using orange peel extract: synthesis, characterization and pilot evaluation of their antimicrobial properties. Indian Academy of Sciences / INSA / NASI Summer Research Fellow2014, Department of Biochemistry, University of Delhi (South Campus), New Delhi, India. Title- Cloning of FOXM1 gene into pET28-a (+) vector Successfully cloned FOXM1 gene into pET-28a (+) vector. My aim was to make an attempt towards cloning the FOXM1 gene into a pET-28a (+) expression vector followed by its expression and purification which can be utilized to screen molecules that can either inhibit or down-regulate FOXM1.
