• Research potential vendors for the company local and overseas.
• Compare and evaluate price and offers from suppliers.
• Determine the purchasing needs of the Industry, based on the demand forecast & pre planning.
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
• Generate local purchase request and orders for local stuff and import purchase also.
• Maintain documetns like purchase orders, quality checking reports and invoices.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers locally and overseas.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Identify and analyze customer preferences and forecast Business trends.
• Enter order details (vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases. Make an inventory in the system to keep the track of the product.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Review sales report and sales strategies to understand the stock movement and ordering needs.
• Identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyze the impact of price changes for products, provide reports to management for decision making.
• Visit stores to cross check the stock report whether its correct.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
