• Managing the new implemented ERP in the Group and helps to get the maximum benefits of the software through ideal process analysis and work flow.
• Managing all financial related work for whole Group (Manufacturing, Whole Sale, and Retail) in terms of regular Reporting, financial analysis, cash flow forecasting.
• Negotiating and atracting the banks to be our partners.
• Developing the budgeting Process at the divisions and Management levels.
• Developing and implementing a range of policies and procedures in order to improve the financial and internal control.

• Lead the design of the workflow process through the whole operation divisions.
• Establish a strong costing system which leads to get detailed reports at the divisions and products levels.
• Manage the regular financial and operations reports.
• Developing and implementing a range of policies and procedures in order to improve the financial and internal control.
• Developing the budgeting Process at the Management level and also divisions level.
The Establishment is the largest Non for Profit Organization in Syria, Dealing with Development activities cross all governorates in Syria.
Key Responsibilities:-
• Lead the design and implementation of the structure of financial resources and all financial operations of the Trust.
• Provide high level proactive financial expertise and leadership to the Trust as a whole and direction for both short term and long term financial planning.
• Advise the Divisional Directors, CEO and Board of Trustees on the financial implications of business/project activities.
• Collaboratively develop operating policies and procedures, improvement programs and management systems for the attainment of objectives of specific projects and the Trust.
• Design financial cycles and procedures for new projects.
• Monthly, quarterly and final reports (in line with the Board’s requirements).
• Prepare regular progress reports (actual vs. budget, financial statements and fundraising activities) on a monthly basis to the CEO on each of the divisional activities.
• Provide Financial and Economical mentoring for the Trust Division/Projects Heads.
• Conduct annual Pathways reviews for key staff in the division.
• Managed the Selection process of a new ERP System integrated with Microsoft Navision.
• Managed to complete the pending external audit for an old period of three years(2007-2010).
• Successfully lead the team of (10) members covering all operations in Syria.
The company is the largest distributor of Nokia in MENA region. The company annual turnover is over $2 billion.
Key Accomplishments:-
• Managed monthly and quarterly reporting, including financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, using Microsoft Business Solutions - AXAPTA 4.
• Developed a new chart of accounts for the consolidation purposes under ERP Axapta System, and mapping the old and new chart of accounts.
• Successfully lead the team of (30) accountants covering all business channels in KSA.
• Communicating with affiliate companies (21) countries to get the financial Reports on monthly bases.
• Assets (Cash & Banks, Receivable, Inventory), Liability management and consolidated financial statements.
• Reducing month-end reporting from 25 days to 7 days.
• Oversee financial policies and procedures for the accurate and consistent recording and reporting of all financial matters including external and internal financial reporting.
• Developed cash flow forecast to arrange timely funds to bridge the gaps.
The company is one of the three distributors for INTEL products in the Middle East. The group annual turnover was over $250 Million.
Key Accomplishments:-
• Manage the implementation of a new ERP System, and transfer the data from the old System (Al Ameen Accounting System) to MicroSoft Great Plains (ERP) System.
• Managed monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Following up sister companies in (Eygpt, Syria, Lebanon and KSA) to receive the financial statements on monthly bases.
• Following up Banking Communications and Facilities agreement renewal.
• Coordinating budget process with all departments and senior management concluding in the presentation of final budget approved by the CEO and BOD, implemented monthly forecast of financial results versus the budget.
• Lead a team of (10) accountants.
• Ensuring timely and accurate financial analysis for critical decision making. Managing month-end process and developed an efficient process to track expense accruals and provisions.
• Responsible for preparation of supporting schedules, as well as liaison, with External Auditors (Ernst & Young) for validation of business transactions and effectiveness of Internal Controls.
• Developed implemented and monitored internal and external reporting processes; produced and analyzed financial statements; resulting in reduced reporting time by 50%.
• Participated in the design and then implemented a fully integrated MIS system resulting in an automated ordering, processing, delivery and accounting for all products. The new system provided accurate and timely data to management.
