• Planned, led, organized and controlled warehouse management and operations. Ensures continuous warehouse operations processes execution.
• Owned warehouse performance management, lead and build a plan to deliver continuous improvement and execution of warehouse quality assurance system.
• Accountable for the overall Warehouse KPI's and performance. Set up, initiated, assessed and planned to ensure optimum space management. (Lay-out), and resource utilization
• Designed & implemented warehousing strategies for finished products.
• Developed & implemented procedures or systems to evaluate suppliers for warehousing activities.
• Scheduled team's daily work activities including daily receiving, storage, and more.
• Led the execution and reconciliation of accurate cycle-count/ inventory records and related reporting.
• Streamlining operations, controlling operating costs resulting in enhanced profitability. Identifying, directing and focusing resources whilst enhancing operations and service delivery.
• Monitoring commercial documentation for import trade in compliance with statutory regulations and dealing with shipping companies & government departments.
• Providing leadership and supporting day to day shipping operations. Optimizing the planning of shipments on the basis of costs and to determine optimal delivery sequences and transportation dates/times.
• Coordinating with Shipping Lines for sea freight rationalizing and resolving the billing / payment issues like L/C, TT & IBC.
• Coordinating with suppliers, identifying innovative solutions that support contracts optimization, improved delivery, pricing and lead-times, in line with corporate policies and procedures.
• Interfacing with warehouses and showroom, traveling overseas for procurement and assisting new companies for establishing the business relation.
• Informing the agents with client’s product line and service offerings and sharing regular updates (SWOT ANALYSIS)
• Acting as business catalyst, ensuring sales growth is consistent and quality standards are best in the brand, across markets. Generating detailed sales analysis report on monthly basis.
• Ensuring optimal usage of resources to operate as per schedule and enforcing budgetary guidelines, cost control measures.
