DESIGNING OF HVAC SYSTEM AS PER ARCHITECTURE AND THEIR REQUIREMENTS
1. Study the PROJECT DETAILS and SCOPE OF PROJECT, BILL OF QUANTITY.
2. Preparing the schedule by discussing the site issues with PROJECT MANAGER.
3. Site visit for Inspection of Work Procedure, Storage of Material and workers Safety
4. Prepare MR (MATERIAL REQUEST) as per the scope and BOQ and forward it to concerned department
5. Prepare MATERIAL SUBMITTAL and METHOD OF STATEMENT
6. Raise the IIR (Internal Inspection Request)
7. As per the comments of QC engineer rectify the issues
8. Raise RFI (REQUEST FOR INSPECTION) for client’s QC visit
9. If any comments other than the approved drawing and scope of work, discuss it with PM (PROJECT MANAGER (MEP))
10. Responsible for the checking the quality of material on site to meet standards
11. Preparing the HVAC SYSTEM for Testing and Commissioning (NITROGEN TESTING, DUCT LEAKAGE AND VACCUM CLEANING)
12. Hand over the Project with complete SNAG List
DESIGNING KNOWLEDGE IN HVAC:
* Duct size can be calculated by using McQuay Software.
* Duct Designing can be calculated by Equal Friction method
* Finding Grills and Diffuser sizes by using BETA Performance Data software.
* Selection of A/c Blower fan and Exhaust fan as per required Duct routings.
* Calculating the Kitchen hood sizes as per requirement for the cooker.
* Car Parking & Toilet Ventilations.
I have knowledge on the following HVAC related software’s to find out Heat load calculation, Duct Sizing.
1. “O-GENERAL METHOD”
2. “E-20” CALCULATIONS”.
3. “MCQUAY DUCT SIZER”
4. “TOSHIBA PIPE SIZER”
FIRE FIGHTING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out the work at site aa per CIVIL DEFENCE REQUIREMENTS, prepare the floor drawing for FIRE ALARM FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM.
Smoke detector, Heat detector Selection, Sprinkler slection.
